Phil Galfond?

I see he is on high stakes poker tonight. The name sounds familiar but I am not sure why. Is he a high stakes online player and if so what is his online name.

Thanks,

I dunno if you're joking, but there are two jmans here and the one who made that overcard thread is not Galfond.

He looked very uncomfotable imo. But I've never met the guy or seen him on anything else before so he might just look like that all the time.

No doubt Phil and Brandon are great players, but i dont think they could have done a worse job on high stakes poker. They have no personality and gamble.

Re: Phil Galfond?

GSN doesn't show the hands that people fold pre-flop, so you can't really say that for sure. If those two guys are getting dealt 10-4 offsuit constantly, they have no reason to play those hands especially with Sammy playing every hand.

Plenty of players on there play well and don't talk. Phil ivey, Patrik, Brian/aba, daniel alaei, etc. They didn't do any worse of a job than them.

lol. watched it now. he must have had a hardon when he saw he got position on BOTH sammy and jamie. he played like a nit for sure, but if you are trying to counter the looseness with loosness you're in for some serious variance.

Um, I realize that was an attempted level, but I suspect that even mentioning a certain site that's currently linking to material that violates 2+2's intellectual property rights will result in a banning. I'd edit that post before a mod appears if I were you.

Also, if I were Phil Galfond, I'd change my name to Phil Galfondler. Unless the whole OMGClayAitken thing is meant to connote gayness. In which case, I'd change it to Phil Manfond.

How does it feel using a (private) pic of a man with down-syndrome to make a bad joke in an internet poker forum? The level of discussion here is sickening.

Re: Phil Galfond?

Didn't Phil already post about his appearance when it was shot this summer? He said he was holding cash in reserve for his second session (which was going to be a bigger buyin game), so he played the first session very tight. Turned out to be a mistake because producers didn't bring him back for the second session.
