Excel Spreadsheet of Doom

Disclaimer: Quickly put together, I don't really try hard at an Excel Spreadsheet of Doom when it's this early in such a huge game. However, I -will- defend everyone in the green section and I probably will vote for anyone in the yellow section (but when people in the yellow section get heat, I look at them more carefully, and may possibly move them into the green section)

HOWEVER, I have looked at some posts by Dustin, and he HAD done something which I consider "at least one villager action" - look at this exchange (bolded parts are dustin's speak)

Yesterday I started posting right before the vowels happened- then I lost my vote for being stupid and stopped posting. Today I woke up late, started posting- said I liked Sighting, and I'm currently rereading. Cut me some slack.

DURRON:
Do you think the passage quoted makes Dustin more likely to be a villager? (This should be an easy yes). Does this passage change your mind on Dustin being a wolf?

RibbitX2: If the passage makes you think villager, and now Dustin seems like a wolf
RibbitX3: If the passage makes you think wolf, Dustin's still a wolf

TBH, I don't know what Zurvan thinks of night-kills. However, I do know zurvan is confrontational, I do know he's pissed off at me, and that seems like villager.

Luckay, could you explain the sighing villager act? Him and lastchance are my biggest wolf reads.

And if you could also comment on bluff, he has made a few questionable posts imo, but want to know if I am just reading them wrong.

imo, if we voted off low-content posters (barring an amazing wolf read by somebody) the next 5 days and the wolves seer hunted for the next 5 days, we'd be in pretty good shape

this is in response to me voting to myself and spouting out some strategy. In the future, if I got lynched d1, people would look at sighing and say "lol you got on an easy bandwagon d1, you're a wolf." I feel like that's how sighing would play it as a villager, I don't feel like he'd do something so easy like voting me d1 as a wolf.

Also, I've never actually caught sighing's wolfiness, I've thought his posts were fairly decent and villagery overall...

Re: Choose Your Own Adventure Vol I: The Road to Eleria

******************GROUP DAY EVENT******************

You emerge from the temple feeling reinvigorated and ready to head out again. Onward to the Royal Court of Eleria!

The Company regroups and prepares to move out. To your surprise, you find that you are excited…and if the buzz around you is any indication, you’re not the only one. Somehow, after last night’s revelry, the traumas that have beset the party seem further distant and removed. A pity about aaronk56 and dmk, but you didn’t know them well.

You examine your gear, double check the straps on your pack, and nibble a sweet crunchy fruit that is apparently a favorite of the locals. Not bad. Tart and juicy, yet crisp. So you are distracted and don’t immediately notice when the person next to you falls over. Somebody’s clumsy this morning.

Then you realize two things:

1. The person isn’t getting up.
2. He is wearing the uniform of the Royal Messenger, your guide.

You and another man get to the Messenger at the same time. You see a tiny dart lodged in his neck. He is not breathing. And all of your efforts to revive him fail.

The Messenger is dead. He was your guarantee of safe passage through Eleria, the only Elerian in your band, and the Queen‘s representative. How will the locals respond to his death? You’re not sure you want to stick around and find out. On the other hand, this is one death at least that may NOT be purely an internal matter. Perhaps you should report this to the local constable.

** STRATEGY POST **
If the saboteur wanted to use a trap, this would obviously be the best option possible. It's 50-50. Now the question is, which one he would choose. I believe that given our previous actions, we have a reputation for not running away / confronting all danger / doing the right thing. THEREFORE, THAT OPTION IS TRAPPED.

WE MUST SLIP OUT OF TOWN TO AVOID THE TRAP. The trap is probably the saboteur tipping off the constable that we did something bad to the messenger.

Let's get outta here, folks.

At the end of your event result there will be something like:

If you receive an actual power it will say:

You have earned Power X, followed by details.

I need to read today's stuff, but based on the late movement yesterday the two main suspects today should be me and sighing. I've been pushing for sighing for a while and don't expect that to change today. We should look closer at the movement near the end of the day yesterday. Some people moved from aaron to me, then back. Not sure if people moved from sighing to aaron, but if so they should be suspected especially if sighing is lynched and is a wolf today.

Thoughts:
I'm voting page 88.

Jared and sighing, and to some extent lastchance, came close to being the lynch last night. Assuming there is a wolf in there somewhere, I need to reread people who made aaron the top choice. Since the wolves knew all along aaronk would be a villager, I'm going to look at the 3rd-7th vote range on aaron after I get back from class.

vote lastchance

Can everybody that's not voting dustin tell me why? The evidence is there. For those of you that hold logic in disdain, he's certainly not posting with his normal style. For those of you that feel tone is useless, the night kills tend to point to him. Finally, for those of you that like to follow a confirmed villager - Shorty thought he was a wolf, and left his vote on him last night.

I'm not saying you have to vote for him. I would like to know why you're not voting him, though.

Not sure about the count but it looks like it'll come down to aaron, lastchance, nez, or sighing.

I have aaron fairly high on my villager list. I'm not all that familiar with his game to be honest, but I've gotten absolutely no wolfy vibes from him.

Other than Durron, who I think is a confused villager, and Shortline who is confirmed, Lastchance is the least likely to be a wolf IMO. Based on his turbo game, he's acting like he does as a villager and he is quite wolfy when he's a wolf.

While nez is accusing me of this, he appears in many posts to be trying too hard to act natural. He's the most likely wolf IMO.

Sighing's posts were better today but he sounded dodgy yesterday. I think it's reasonably likely that he's a wolf.

[/ QUOTE ]
This whole post is like a schmorgesborg of tasty wolf treats. The Sighing comment at the end is screaming wolf...villagers claiming someone is "dodgy" but only "reasonably" likely to be a wolf??? If hes dodgy then hes probably a wolf right? Not "reasonably". Also people who say "dodgy" are either wolfs or european or both.

[/ QUOTE ]

I say dodgy all the time. Probably picked it up off a foreign exchange student from England that lived with me my senior year of high school. I will grant you that dodgy does come up in the Firefox spell check.

People act dodgy all the time as villagers. Look at Chim and Neil on day 1. They convinced the amazing durron and traz that they were wolves despite being villagers (actually not sure about traz with neil). If Durron the Great was so sure of both of these and they are wrong then how can JaredL the Sucky at Reading People ever hope to claim on day 2 that someone is "probably" a wolf when such a low percentage of people are?

Early in games the main thing to go on is dodgy posts. Unfortunately, my style is much more to look at votes and kills, which I think are more reliable. To me it's like using tells versus betting information in poker. Reading tells is great for other people but I prefer going with betting information. I don't have any specific tells on people, only reads which I find to be fairly unreliable without further information. No way on day 2 would I say that someone is probably a wolf unless it's a noob or somehow obvious. Note that while I "merely" said that he was "reasonably likely" to be a wolf, I did vote for him. I guess I should fake confidence and pretend that all of my wolf reads are 100% correct.

I am 100000000000% sure that nez, sighing, and dustin are wolves.

Better?

MT (and others),

In response to your 9:15pm post – there was nothing interesting at all about my vote change. I made it perfectly clear that I was voting aaron or Jared and that I did not think Sighing was a wolf. When I switched to jared, I said I was switching back to aaron, if necessary. At 9:13, aaron was the front runner of the two and had just gone back to sighing, so I switched back…and then aaron and mets went back to Jared.

If you are looking for who saved Jared, start with FCBL (shocker) and LC, who moved their votes to sighing as soon as Jared went into the lead….and Luckay, who went to aaron before me.
