So in the words of Wu-Tang Financial I'm looking to "diversify my bonds" (er bankroll) by getting money onto a couple of other sites.

I am going to open up an FTP rakeback account (currently I dun have one) - should I bother depositing (I'm a US player so no Neteller, which I think means I will be waiting a while) or just try to do a 2p2 to 2p2 transfer for UB $?

[/ QUOTE ]

You need to deposit to get that $600 bonus. One of the best bonuses you'll ever get so don't screw it up.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks man, I wasn't sure if the bonus was simply cancelled by the lack of rakeback when you clear it (ala UB).

How are US players depositing these days? EPassporte?

But getting p2p transfer doesn't void the first deposit bonus. So you can play with transfered funds then just deposit at a later date to claim the bonus

Ok I know people ask this crap all the time, but after reading ShipitFMA's post it's got me wondering so I'll ask the stoopid question again. A couple of years ago I opened a FTP account and played play money for like one day, never made a deposit or anything (don't even remember if I gave them my correct address and stuff, may not have cause I was just on there to check out the play $ games). If I had no choice but to use that account I created back then...

1. Sounds like I could still take advantage of the first deposit bonus?

2. What about rackback?

I'll have to move up first before I consider it. I probably wouldn't be able to clear the bonus in time right now. It will take an act of god to clear the stars bonus by Feb at the rate I'm going right now. Funny how you don't get many FPP's at 5NL...

Actually I think if you've never once deposited real money in that account you can still get rakeback. I can't remember if it was Rakebreak or RTR that emailed me about this last year, but it turned out I was out of luck because I used to play there. You might contact some affiliates before you load the account just to be sure.

It's like they need a set to continue with the hand.

[b]Yes, they are that bad.

They flop two pair/sets etc and just call down and don't protect or extract.

if you have never made a deposit or played for real money on FTP then you may open a new account with rb through the affiliate.

If you have deposited/played for real money before, but are not tagged to an affiliate, there may be a point in time where they transfer you to one to get RB.

Ugh first hand I play in NL after few days I use a line I've never used before that must be deeply -EV. Then I got Aces and doubled up two hands later. Remind me to never use this line again:

Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

MP: $31.25
CO: $32.85
BTN: $16.65
SB: $40.85

UTG: $24.75

Pre-Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.50, CO folds, BTN calls $0.50, SB calls $0.40, Hero calls $0.25

Flop: ($2) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP bets $0.75, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.75

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

I just read this in the Full Ring forum in a post that asked why you don't play 6-max.

The poster says:

"I chose FR since I figured most of my money would come from grinding bonuses, and I figured FR would be better for this as I could have a tighter game, which all the books recommend for beginners. Unfortunately I never managed to play tight though. And I think 6M would be just as good for bonuses.

I do want to learn short handed though, since now when I see a juicy FR table with only 4 players of who I know three are weak I still feel like I can't outplay them short handed I've solved this by taking a good seat and sitting out until the table gets filled, but I think I lose a significant advantage by not taking the money when its easily available."

----------
Another notable:

I don't like the variance of 6 max
The aggression of 6 max effects my play negatively
I can play a TAG game at FR and feel good about it

---------
Though you can really make some good money there, the variance is just SO SICK!

I loled so hard.

Jesus thac...could that hand be more perfect?

Also, I run so sick bad during rebuy periods. I think I'm going to just shove 1010+, AQ+ from now on because I'm just getting too spewy when I lose a few rebuys. 55=22 on the last hand for a respectable stack at least, so now I have to be stuck with 5k which just sucks
