First time playing 6max again after 4 months of HUSnG BR-building (not really playing and/or winning a lot). I used to be a 15/12 uber-nit thinking he was TAG and knew about postflop play. God I was so wrong. I think Im on my way to change things though, the HU experience helps a ton.

Hey guys... I've got another survey here. (For those of you who missed the one last week, my gf's doing a project on it for her Design class at uni.)

Thanks a lot for the answers last week.

http://www.createsurvey.com/c/60443-Vhtlwz/

I just did it and it takes about one minute.

Last week's answers were pretty predicatable:

Most people are males from 18-30
Most play for profit
Pretty much everyone prefers online to B&M
Lots of people have PS2s and X360s.

I think that was about it.

Thanks again.

Oh man, everyone's making videos!!!

Speaking of which, I downloaded Camtasia and just was fiddling around with it. I plan to make a 6-tabling NL50 video for y'all. Probably wait til next week though as I see there's currently 3 vids coming out all at the same time.

i was thinking about making a video that mainly focused on table selection and using various software while playing, but i dunno if there would be all that much interest in something like that.

ICMoney,

Over how long of a period is that datamined? Which limits do you mainly datamine and how many tables at a time? Do you have a separate account setup to double the number of allowed tables open?

[/ QUOTE ]

I started to datamine nl25 and nl50 when I only played Fold-n-Goes on PokerStars.

I haven't played donk-n-goes for about a year now, so some of those stats might be pretty old.

I just took that survey.

I studied marketing research in college - so I'm a sucker for helping out on these things.

Just as a side note - I get tilted when the United States isn't the default country (Afghanistan?? lame).

What kind of numbers would you like to watch?
15/13
17/15
19/16
22/18
30/25
etc

I might make one if I ever found the time, but I'm not sure if I could run below 40/20 at 10nl.

solid TAG, so 15/13 or 17/15 would be nice. Obviously do lots of tables, so you can show how to maximise value. Just go through how to beat the players who play so bad, i am having a harsh month and need some kind of guidance.

I could do this show everyone how to lose money lol. I can play 6 tables and usually run around 21/19 but I can play 17/15

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

Would you want overlap or just small tables?

Not sure how good my commentary would be with 6 tables.

I usually only 3-4 table without commentary when I play.

Oh yeah, when I was messing around 10nl with a friend I found it so easy to 3bet IP, CB and take down the pot.

At 10nl I think it's better to play lag/tag than tag/nit.

4 tables would also be fine. Just want some nl10 action, because i have watched alot of 50nl videos, but the game does play fundementally different.

Ok will list a few things, might come up with more.
1) Continuation betting, dealing with people who minraise everytime you cont bet.
2) Double barelling (linked to first)
3) Marginal hands against maniacs
4) Preflop 3betting

A huge leak in my game seems to be continuation betting, i lose tonnes of 10bb pots because i am cont betting and people are calling down light. I find it hard to make this money up when i do get a real hand and want to bet for value.

just play solid poker. Play like you do at your normal limit. adjusting your preflop range is only going to hurt the quality of the vid imo.

Its the postflop decisions that matter. If anyything you should play looser to try and find some tough spots.

Cool, thanks man.

I might actually play some 50nl tonight, but when I'm done I'm going to datamine the heck out of 10nl.

For reads and commentary I will prob just 3 table and try to focus on hands, even when I fold pf (a big leak of mine).

I don't work Sunday/Monday, so will get this puppy out.

Keep the talking points coming so I don't become a mime.

the easy way to start is by recognizing who you should c-bet against and who you shouldnt, then following through. a good player could easily exploit that, but typically, they arent good players.

Unless you had a read - I think it's a pretty well-played hand (except for the overbet).

He limp calls UTG - this is more likely to be a PP/Tx as anything else.

You are prob 50% at best against his range and he should have folding equity.

I would never play a hand like he did.
Just my .02.
