Bet/fold or check/call the flop.

I like a raise preflop here, and I agree you should either bet/fold or check/call.

at this level i feel im just building a pot OOP and with this many players to flop somebody has an A. what if there was only one A on flop? still say check call?

I think that I would have raised preflop with the 4 callers. Against 4 callers, who cares if two aces flop, you are folding your hand here if any A,Q,or K flops. You have to isolate legit hands pf and when you get smacked on the flop you will feel better about your fold. I like the fact that you minimize your loss. Many would chase here for reasons that I am sure will follow.

On an Axx flop I am folding (though I would have played pf differently). Its much different not only because its a bit less likely for them to have the ace but more importantly not many people lead with flopped trips in low stakes games. You can call and reevaluate later streets when very often they won't have Ax.

Flop is a c/f with so many ppl to see it it's very likely someone just hit his trips(since ppl looove to play any A).
But I certainly raise this for value preflop.

I would be c/c flop and folding to further turn action.

Agree.

and OP,
raising pf isnt a bad idea, either.

Was your intention to trap with a favorable flop? I like making a nice size re-raise instead of Letting 3 people limp otherwise ur just inviting more drawing hands to beat you, plus the scary flop kills the hand for you. A pre-flop raise might have at least chased away a weak ace, with a follow up continuation bet you might still take it down.
