NL400....get aggressive???

Villian was very loose preflop, and very passive postflop.
When he raised the flop, I put him on a top pair hand like KT. In other pots he had been very passive, so I knew if my flush comes in, he will slow down and likely fold. Is it a good idea to just push here and get a fold or hit my card, should I go for a moderate raise, or just call.

The min raise...there was an article I read yhat gave the idea of sizibg your raises based on your position at the table.....been trying it out.

I like shoving here, he may fold a hand like KT, if he calls, you have a lots outs. However, the min raise by a passive player just doesnt feel like KT for me. Most of the time, its a set or a FD.

What did villain have? Plz post results after discussion

you want people in position [censored] with you? because that is what a minraise utg does, it lets people get in cheap, and then [censored] with you postflop, and since you will miss a ton of flops its not a good thing

In regards to the min-raise thing - If anything I would raise 3x at the min in EP, something about min-raising preflop just irks me.

Re: NL400....get aggressive???

I guess the flipside is you are playing at a disadvantage regardless. You can't raise too much, because you have so many people left to act. If you have a hand worth opening, you make a small raise to get some junk out of the way. If you make a standard raise, you will still be playing oop, only now the postflop betting will be higher
