This hand vs this villain happens so rarely, I'm not sure how much action I should want to put in.

I think as you played is fine but im unsure whether to cap if he 3bets. Surely he would have raised aq pf? It could be that he has some two pair hand. Is the rake capped by this point?

Yes, the rake is capped at $70 pot.

with those stats he could have very possibly AQ.

however i would raise the turn to charge the flush draw against this opponent. Against a very aggro villain i also call the turn and raise the river(if its safe/he is smart and can laydown hands)

Capping if he 3-bets is lol. I would just call down. Weighing worse hands that he plays like this and pays off vs. AQ --> AQ is way more likely.

#2 at capping and like i said, i also wouldnt raise a J/T/flush river

I like your play, there is a lot of 2 pair/ set hands in his range which have outs on the turn and pay a raise on the river anyway.

4 bet on the river is spew.

why don't you 3bet turn and prefere raise the river?

for the reasons stated in the above post: "I like your play, there is a lot of 2 pair/ set hands in his range which have outs on the turn and pay a raise on the river anyway. "

I realize if I get 3b on the river, I lose the same amount if he has AQ and were to 3-bet the turn and get capped.

I think on average I win more from the hands I am ahead of by waiting for the river to raise.

like i said, i would play it the same, BUT think about the fact that he is very passive with those stats, i could see him checking the river with two pair after the turn c/r.
Against an tag/lag i would also wait until the river.

The logic behind the raise river idea is, to avoid a paired/flush board. And please dont say: Raise the turn, if the board pairs on the river and he donks ... simply fold.
