Weeds. Season 2. (Possible spoilers to come maybe?)
 

What are people's opinions of the second season of Weeds?

I thought it started strong but has really tanked hard. Every episode makes the characters more unlikable (other than Doug and Andy).

People said I was full of crap though and that it's great.

Also, I haven't heard one version of "Little Boxes" this season that's been remotely tolerable.

I usually just skip it, lessening the chance of me sticking a screwdriver through my brain.

I think this season is winding up pretty good. You've got the Doug/Celia thing and the phone tap to cause some good conflicts. I agree on the song, they've all sucked.

The intro song has always annoyed me, but I think there was one that was tolerable. I usually watch it on demand and just fast-forward.

As for the season, some episodes have been better than others, but I've liked the entire season.

It's being set up for a crazy season finale.

This show would be unwatchable without Kevin Nealon. Seriously, I can't really think of anything I've laughed at other than him.

When he walks into the city hall meeting with a bag of Sun Chips... [censored] classic.

I've watched every episode and am not sure whether or not I like the show... which is really weird. It isn't that great, it isn't bad. I don't know what to think!

However, I am really interested to see what happens with the DEA Agent (forgetting his name), now that he knows he won't get any nookie. I'm guessing it'll be one of those "you're nice, I won't [censored] you over because you have a family" type moments... which would be a let down.

When is the imminent Nancy/Conrad hook-up is coming?

You hit the nail on the head right there. Nancy is an awful Mom, but, whatever.

But, Silas, holy crap. He is far and away the most annoying, pointless character in television. He adds ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the show.

Rich, white suburban family. Dad dies, wife realizes they have no income source. Wife decides to start selling weed (because the opportunity presented itself) so the family could maintain their standard of living. The show follows the trials and tribulations of this decision in a comical manner. There are family issues, run ins with police/DEA and Kevin Nealon.

honestly was expecting so much more from this show. Showtime series lately have been awesome. Season 1 looked like it really setup some good story lines etc.

Anyone else think that the DEA guy is maybe the creepiest guy next to micheal jackson. I mean common he meets a girl at a karate thing than stalks her findsout her whole life etc. Than plays dumb and in the most recent episode after he leaves he sits in his car and listens to her phone convos. He is a worse parent than nancy.


Also as others have said kevin nealon is carrying the show. Cilia isn't bad herself and the scenes invovling those 2 are gold.
