Can totally see a JQ here. Should I get it all-in or just call?

Whats villains went to showdown% and won at show down%? these are the stats are very useful in this situation. I dont see much reason to shove because i cant see villain calling with anything other then qj. i would call and hope its a missed flush draw.

I see no value in raising; he just calls when you are beat.

Against this guy it seems an easy call.

WTF is wrong with you guys. Shove all day please. I may check behind turn as well.

Huh? You don't think he's capable of thinking "lol I'm slowplaying!" here with a set/two pair and betting river because he thinks a check behind would be a disaster?
I'm shoving this all day

i also check behind on turn, and i shove against this guy as well. villain will call with many worse hands, most likely two pair.

Definitely shove against someone with 71% VPIP.

Players like this make money because a) they get weak-tight players to fold the best hand b) they get people to call them down light when they actually have something.

He is often calling a shove with two-pair here, because he's used to tight players pushing on him thinking their one pair is good or even pushing just Ace high out of frustration.

If he calls with JQ that sucks, but don't be results oriented because he will call with worse hands a lot of the time.

you don't think maniac raises JQ at SOME point during this hand? I'd be really surprised if he has that. J7 is more likely, but I'm really thinking something like 89 or a total bluff.

I think he's more likely to call with <a straight than to have you beat, but I can't come up with a sensible range. Shove or call have to be close in value.

edit: I like willy's analysis, I just don't see what he'd play this passively unless it was a weak hand that improved with the river 8.
