blind battle - debatable on all streets??

In 6-max, Villain runs at 32/19/1.7. We were playing HU not long before this, he was playing tight for HU, I was raising all my buttons, so he might think I'm crazier than I am. I've seen him bet pot on early streets before as c-bets, etc. but not as a big bet on the river like here.

$10/$20 No Limit Holdem
3 players

Stacks:
BTN (<font color="#0000cc">$2745</font>)
SB (<font color="#0000cc">$1992</font>)
Hero (<font color="#0000cc">$2000</font>)

Pre-flop: ($30, 3 players) Hero is BB w/ K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

BTN folds, He raises to $60, I call

Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($120, 2 players)

He bets $120, I raise to $369, He thinks and calls

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($858, 2 players)

He checks, I check

River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($858, 2 players)

He bets $858, I?

I would probably try and make a smaller bet on the turn if I had raised the flop. As played I think I would have to call river, its probably smarter to fold but I don't know if I could do it after checking that turn.

I bet the turn and call a push...in b v. b you don't think he is 1. Shoving flop with a flush draw, 2. raising the turn with two pair here?

Call river his hand looks like busted Ax/flush (if he folds Ax on flop then you could consider folding vs passive opponent). I like 3-betting pre but calling and taking it away post is fine. Raising flop is probably fine and +ev. It depends a lot whether he will shove with Ax combos (you provide no info on this). I like the turn check.

Once I check the turn, Im calling a river bet. Its BvB so I dont think hes going to give you all the credit in the world especially given your image from your HU battle. Your turn check looks like you're slowing down bc you bluffed/semi bluffed or you raised it with a marginal over pair on the flop and are taking your free river with a draw or pot control with sm to med pp. Im calling this bc I believe that your turn check feigns weakness.

Probably not to both. Just not the type.

Really don't think this guy and types like him in general are shoving naked Ax combos on this flop.

mmm i prob pay off here because your turn check induced a bluff, but I expect to win about 33% so it's fine. But I prefer a bet/fold turn, he doesn't seem overaggro so it's a pretty safe line and then you can check behind river. Betting turn also charges any club he is holding that might suckout on you on the river and a FD is definitely in your c/r flop range.
