I forgot to mention at Winstar
 

In my commentless TR to Winstar I forgot to mention about something that I've never seen anyone mention, but maybe because it's expected. The rake was $5, I expected that, but, when the SB put their $2 out there, the dealer would take $1 and slip it in a slot that wasn't the same as the slot where s/he would put the rake. I'm not sure, tho, if this was the same slot that they'd slip any tips. Is this usual?

I don't know the Winstar but it sounds like a jackpot collection.

Yes, it is the drop for the bad beat jackpot. They drop it before they deal the hand.

they got aces cracked $100 promo and bbj afaik.
i had aces cracked 3 times last trip. twice preflop and once on flop vs set of 4s

I didn't quite understand what the $100 promo was, just that they were picking the table by lottery, as it were, and our table was never picked. So, if someone's AAs were cracked, do they get the whole $100?

Aces Cracked is a different night from splash pots. Aces Cracked is every table. Just show em down when it's running. Splash pot is random table draw every half hour for a pot splash.

ya i know getting aces 3 times in <300 hands and having them cracked for a total of 1700 when its ur only big losses of the night is totally standard. (its cool cuz i got 1k bj back and then the $300 for AC)
