AK semi-deep plan from the flop onwards

Villian is unknown but seems decent.

4-8 nl, $1700 effective stacks.

MP opens for 24, sb (villian) calls, I make it 84 from the BB with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] , both call.

Flop is T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] . SB checks, I bet 140, mp folds, SB check-mini-raises.

Plan for the rest of the hand?

Your flop bet is way too small. The pot is 250 or so, bet pot or close to it.

As played, I think a shove is best. AA, KK are very unlikely. Assuming this is 6max, TT probably reraises preflop (unless he's good and won't build the pot deepstacked and out of position) but let's keep that in his range. So you have TT, 55, another AK, or KQs.

I sense a KQ trying to find out what the story is cheap.

You're drawing live vs. one, a freeroll against the second, and way ahead of the third. If he'll call with KQ, I'll go with shove. If not, I'll call, call a turn bet, and make a big river decision.

I would reraise more preflop.

So what is the pot on the flop - like $260? I would c-bet a little more, but not much.

I think it's an easy call after the c/r.

Call with position obviously.

If villian is decent then I think the most you are getting out of a worse hand right now is one value bet or further bluffs. If you reraise and get action/calls then you are hoping villian has AA.

I'd risk going behind to a move from QQ/JJ/QJ/KQ and just call the min-raise. Check through/call a lot of turns and call/value bet the river. If villian bets both the turn and river it's a tough spot without the flush.

I think calling the flop at least is ok since you stack villains with KK/TT/55 when the flush comes.

Another reason to call is that stacking villians who min-raised with a monster and priced in your draw is sweeter than sweet.

I agree that my flop bet is a bit small.

Gamblor, he's not calling 1350 more with KQ.

Anyway I called the flop. The turn was 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and he bet 180. I called. The river was the 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and he bet 350. I called.

Thoughts?
