Caint wait to see Monk's graph, with all various levels mixed in. The 5/10 shot swongs should make the graph BBV worthy.

Can someone check this math for me real quick? (yes, i'm dumb)

I have 37% equity and am looking to call a preflop AI for $49. There is already $85 in the pot. So I'm calling 49 to win 134.
49/134 = 36.5%?

So it's a call?

Spurious 11-30-2007 02:07 PM

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

2.73:1
or 36.6% equity necessary to call

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

marginal call, if you know you have exactly 37% equity (i'm assuming you stoved it).

Propbet update. I am not sure if I should make this a dedicated thread or not.
I didnt play any last night...my girlfriend is very much -ev and is killing my ability to put in hands. This morning before work I put in a few hands. Started with 2 tables and then moved up for 4. The BR is up to $94. I am not sure about PJ

thanks for the deck Fozzy I didnt have time to install it this morning but plan on doing it tonight when I get off work.

When these three things come together I am very good poker player. Key is getting all three at once.

1. Think through every action like its a life or death decision.
2. Have a plan for the rest of the hand
3. Don't tilt.

Now why can't I do all of this in every single hand every single day? Not like I am playing a gazillion tables. Three tables should leave plenty of time for all of this.

Wow man, sucks.

Puts things in perspective.

Just thank God you have something to wake up in the morning for and look forward to.

There was a post in BBV where a well-known poster was going to do it and was talked out of it.

Nothing can be that bad.

Sorry man.

I have an incredibly stupid question. If there is a situation where an opponent would think "He cant possible be bluffing there, I should fold my medium/pretty strong hand," then wouldn't it be +EV to bluff?

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

The Aj hand I posted. TWP said I should fold, because my line looked like an ace so villain shouldnt be bluffing. So lets say I am villain, and I know that you have the ace and are capable of laying down hands. Wouldnt it then be +EV to bluff, because villain would think that I should rarely be bluffing?

why do i play any other place than titan poker. All they do is call to river with middle pair, i check to them, they shove and i call and win the pot. Why i play at full tilt or stars i don't know

only if you know villain is capable of laying down an A...and if you think that a decent chunk of his range are A's.

I don't but have heard so many good reviews that I'm considering ditching cardrunners for it.

In fact, not sure if it'd be legit but leggopoker should waive the sign up or something for people that quit CR for them; that'd be awesome.

i love it.

at first i thought since videos are 100nl +, there might be some problems with applying to 50nl and lower, but so far every cash video has been applicable. the reasoning is top notch, and this is coming from someone who has been a member of, and watched a ton videos on, CR.

im considering getting it as well as CR. I prepaid my CR membership so nothing I can do there. If lego puts up a ton of HUcash vids then ill definately get that.

Im not sure if they do this, but i would like to see a sample vid from all the pros. I dont want to watch someone play 19/16/3 and talk about what to open on the button all day and fold everytime they are in a marginal spot.

These tourneys are very soft and very fun to play in general.

lol so i don't really check my pm's because i don't normally get any. Well i check them today and i have one. It's from this person who i play with on the NL30 deep tables and he basically says 'you should really work on your game more' and gives a half a sentence of a hand i didn;t play well. I just thought lol- wot a knob- concentrate on your game next time
