Two Plus Two Newer Archives - A few interesting hands this week 10/20 & 5/10

These all happened within the past few days at Bellagio and Venetian. Just thought they were interesting cause my sessions have been fairly uneventful up until this past week.

1. Live 10-20NL Hero has 9200 villain 11k. 9 handed, Game is very good w/ a lot of action. Hero's image is pretty solid nothing out of the ordinary.

Pre-Flop: UTG limps, 4 callers behind, Villain on Button limps, SB raises to 200, Hero calls, 5 call behind, Villain stops and thinks for about 1 min stacking chips, someone at the table says, "What you can't call?" and villain says, "Oh it's not that, I don't know I might make it 9k" everyone laughs. Then he says, "1800 total" SB mucks in disgust. Hero thinks for a minute and says, "That's funny because I know exactly what you have....I call."
Everyone else folds.
Hero checks dark, Villain bets 2400 dark.
Flop: (4600+2400) 4 8 9 rainbow
Hero goes all-in. 5k for villain to call.

2. Live 5-10NL 9 handed. Hero has 15k Villain has about 2600. Villain is a thinking player, fairly aggressive and capable of making big moves and big calls. Villain views Hero as a tight solid player.

Pre-Flop: Folded to Villain in MP who makes it 40, folded to Hero who calls, blinds fold.
Villain bets 80 dark.

Hero calls.

Villain bets 300 Hero calls

Villain checks, Hero bets 400, Villain CR's to 1400...Hero calls.

3. 10-20 9 handed Hero has 3k Villain covers. Villain is pretty aggressive and has CR'd a lot of hands w/ no showdown.

Pre-Flop: Villain makes it 100 UTG, Hero calls, SB calls.

SB checks, Villain checks, Hero checks.

4. 10-20 9 handed Villain is fairly tight/passive, avg player.
Hero has 6k Villain has about 4k.

Villain checks, Hero bets 400, Villain makes crying call,
Hero tables hand quickly villain half way flips his hand over flashing K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] so only I could see and nods his head saying, "Oh" and mucks his hand. Nobody says a word until pot is pushed to Hero. Then someone says, "You couldn't beat Q high?"

Results:

1. Villain mucks JJ faces up. I'm about to muck my hand, but Villain says, "I'll give you 20 to see your hand. I say, "You really want to see it?" Villain nods, I give him back the 20 and show pocket 6s. BTW. I usually never show my hand whether I had a straight flush or pulled off a huge bluff. Except in instances like these where he paid a lot for it and really wanted to see.

2. Villain says, "Good call" and tables 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Wow did I get lucky.

3. Villain says, "Good call I was on a draw on the turn and mucks"
