25NL QJo - steal gets called, turn and river better and better
 

Button is unknown. This is just a straight up steal and c-bet. I'm ready to fold after it gets picked off onh the flop, but I turn TP and river a straight. I'm pretty sure I screwed the pooch on those streets though.

Any advice wanted, but how to play turn and river would be greatly appreciated.

Shoves and wins money from 99/89? If Villain called flop and led turn with KQ, I'd vomit, but there are a LOT of hands we beat that will call a shove.

Just shove it. You will be called way more often by hands you beat than by KQ.

I think the turn is fine. I was wondering what people thought of the river check. I think its good as your hand is disguised. It's an obvious shove as everyone has mentioned but is anyone betting the river?

So c/c turn is OK? I'm in a world of hurt if I bet and he raises. But should I keep up the pressure now that I actually have a hand?

You played 2 streets well and 2 terribly.
Preflop is good.
Flop is disgusting. Bet $3.25-3.50 if you want him to fold. You have to strongarm them hoes with the cbets.
Turn is fine.
River is omg nonononono. Open shove. As played please tell me you don't really mean your thinking about calling.

I seriously thought about it - prob split pot. But then sense prevailed and I shoved into his KQ. Weirdest hand I've played in a while.

You were destined to get stacked on that river and everyone else seems to have the line worked out.

I will add one thing though, be sure to get some value for your loss by making a note that he calls c-bets with crap overs and bets gutshots.
Helps you get back the stack you have loaned him.
