Contributing to the Two Plus Two Internet Magazine

As the editor of the Two Plus Two Internet Magazine, I'd like to see more tournament articles published. While cash game strategy articles have been strong, tournament strategy has been underrepresented in the past six issues.

So, I'd like to encourage all the One-table Tournaments forum posters who have an article idea to make a submission to the Magazine. Feel free to contact me (via PM or e-mail) before doing any writing if you want to discuss the article in advance.

For starters, I'd be interested in publishing an article which follows a poster's play in each an every hand of an SNG (preferably with a first place finish).

All authors who get published recieve $200 per article.

Since my original post, I haven't had too much response from SnG players. Allen Kratz has a math heavy article in this month's issue, though.

Playing with the ICM Forumulas

I'd still very much like to see a submission following a player from his first hand to the very last hand in an SnG.

Re: Contributing to the Two Plus Two Internet Magazine

If you are looking for a text file that has commentary in it as to how the interesting hands were played, I'd be happy to submit it.

I'm a low-limit player with not much time to play and would be flamed for my play, of that there is no doubt.

So. If you are looking for an average, recreational player type SNG player..... Let me know.

BTW. Never saw the original post. Thanks for your work!

Wouldn't that article be ridiculously long?
I mean, even if we only include hands where Hero VPIPs it'll be quite a few hands, especially if the bubble gets lengthy.

I published a 7,000+ word article and paid double for it several months ago.

The June issue of the Magazine is up and is SnG heavy, including an excerpt from Colin Moshman's new 2+2 book.

Re: Contributing to the Two Plus Two Internet Magazine

There's been a change to "Contribute to the Two Plus Two Internet Magazine" page. This has been added.

...some articles will be selected for translation into German and will appear on PokerOlymp. An additional fee of $100 (per article) will be paid for all selected articles. Again after three months these translated articles will come down from www.PokerOlymp.de and all rights are then returned to the authors. These translations will be used for no other purposes without the permission from the authors.
