AQ 6 handed vs. tight utg raiser

I'm about 7th out of 20 left in a $9 360 max on Stars. Villian has been pretty tight, not super nit or anything, but pretty ABC. My image is also tight and villian seems to be paying attention.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t1200 (6 handed)

Button (t23413)
SB (t21387)
BB (t20107)
UTG (t21005)
MP (t6615)
Hero (t24782)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Hero?

Well, I'm not folding. Stack is a bit too deep to shove preflop. Calling and seeing a flop is reasonable enough.

in this part 9/360 there were some supernits folding here is totally fine. you can steal as much as you want later.

Yeah, this is the one from last night. You weren't at this table yet, but the villian was godcomplex1 who was at the final two tables with you.

god surprised me a few hands he was super tight and 2 hands he raised very very marginal hadns in EP once was Q8s with 10bb stack he 3bb 8 handed UTG+1 and it was my BB. I give him credit for knowing I respect that raise a lot and fold and rarely flat call. Another time he raised like A3o 6 handed UTG. He was super tight a lot but randomly did a steal from EP. But, even with that info I stand by a fold. That tourney is easy to run over if you watched me play final 3 tables you would notice that. That is why I took it down I won every pot they gave me the chance to win.

Seems to me a fold is right. Seems as if you really are wanting to only hit a Q to feel safe here, and you have no guarantee that you'll have position in the hand (with others to act behind you). I think you would get much better situations for yourself than this one.

I can agree here. We dont have enough information (or at least not enough was given) to think about a re-steal but I am not folding AQ here. Given that you will have position after the flop I also would flat call.

Yeah, definitely. It was pretty easy to pick who I was shoving into when it was pushbot time. I had just folded AJ to a raise the hand before for this reason. AQ is just a little more tempting.
