NL10 - JJ flop needs help

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $10.40
BB: $6.95
UTG: $10.40
Hero (MP): $9.30
CO: $14.20
BTN: $6.25

Reads: <font color="blue">Villain at the time looked decent. I usually don't display any stats until after 25 hands or so but he seemed very aggressive. I didn't expect a 3-bet from SB so I gave villain a credit for a decent hand (TT+, AK). I really fumbled this one I think.</font>

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $0.40</font>, 2 folds, <font color="red">SB raises to $1.20</font>, BB folds, Hero calls $0.80
Uncalled bet of $0.00 returned to Hero

Flop: ($2.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">SB bets $1.80</font>, Hero ?

Re: NL10 - JJ flop needs help

stick it in, JJ vs a 'very agg' persons range is miles ahead on this board.

Re: NL10 - JJ flop needs help

If you think his range is so strong that you aren't willing to get it in here (hint: it's probably not), then calling the preflop 3-bet was a mistake since he's betting his entire range here.

Re: NL10 - JJ flop needs help

I'd just call if this is the first 3-bet pot you've played with him, and fold to a turn bet unimproved
