http://www.partypoker.com/news/items/magiccards.html
Abracadabra! What could be more magical than winning $100 a day in our new MagicCard promotion? You’ll find out at PartyPoker.com when you play our new $400,000 MagicCard bonanza between April 28, 2006, 12:00 a.m. (ET) and May 2, 2006, 11:59 p.m. (ET): We’re giving away over $77,000 worth of great prizes every day! To conjure up a win, just earn 150 regular PartyPoints in a day during the promotion. You’ll then be eligible for a free MagicCard after 10 a.m. (ET) on the following calendar day, which will reveal a guaranteed cash prize! For example, players who earn 150 regular PartyPoints on April 28, 2006, will be eligible for a MagicCard on April 29, 2006, after 10.00 a.m. (ET).* Simply click on the 'MagicCard' promotion in your PartyAccount (under the 'Events and Promotions' tab) page to reveal your card and - hey presto! - reveal your magical cash prize. Keep playing and keep winning - it’s magic! * Please note that if you have won, the money will be added to your account as soon as you reveal the card. Only one MagicCard can be won per day. Cards must be revealed between 10:00 a.m. (ET) on the day of eligibility and 10:00 a.m. (ET) the next calendar day, otherwise they will expire. Guaranteed Cash prize? Im sure the minimum is $5 but either way that sounds nice. |
Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
Sweet deal, a reload and a nice promo. Time to hit up party.
|
Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
I hope one of the prizes is a 10% ownership stake in PartyGaming.
|
Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
early in the announcement it says "guaranteed cash prize" then at the end if says "if you have won"
hopefully its the former. |

Surely I'm not the only one that thought of this:

will reveal a guaranteed cash prize! [/ QUOTE ] I think all this means is that if you reveal a winning card, the prize that it displays is guaranteed... as in... they won't not give it to you... just awkwardly phrased. But if everyone wins, hey that's great too. |
Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
150 points = 150 hands?
|
Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
Being able to Clone a card when I have a pocket pair would be pretty sweet.
|
Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
Gauranteed prize...I'm pretty sure the last scratchcard one said that at first...then when I complained that mine said that I didn't win anything, they quickly took the page down, and changed it so it no longer said that.

Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
What's even better about this it's "guaranteed". So expect a cash prize everytime.

[ QUOTE ] 150 points = 150 hands? [/ QUOTE ] what are you talking about? [/ QUOTE ] He was asking. If you dont play on Party its not that bad of a question. But just log in to your account page on the website. Go to Players Club -> How to ean Party Points. Only regular points count Im pretty sure so no happy hour or deposit bonus points. |
Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
Anyone else looking forward to winning another sweet portable DVD player? I thought of Magic The Gathering also at first. Glad I quit that game to play more poker. MTG is pretty much a waste of time. If you have some MTG cards you wanna sell message me though..

Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
I wonder if this is going to cause as much trouble as
the last one did! People couldn't get their card to scratch and if they did it wouldn't stay scratched off so they got no credit for the card. |

Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
Does anyone else think that the magic card promotion and the reload are being released at the same time as the vip bonus to keep the games good and not let the tables be completely over run by 8 tabling tags? I mean the magic card promotion and reloads seem to be aimed at the more casual player. Just a thought i had, seems like a pretty good idea.

[/ QUOTE ] Actually the free $75 or free $50 promotions are more toward the casual players. Bringing them back for that they're tyring the magic card promotion to get play. Unfrotunately thats a lot of hands for casual players at low limits |

Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
I'm blue at 2/4; how many hands do I need to play to make 150 points?
I'd check Party's site, but I'm at work now. |

Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
What sort of prizes do you get? I mean.. whats the average cash prize you are going to get?

Re: Party Magic Card Promotion

Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
For NL, the pot must reach $2.00 for the hand to count as raked at tables with 6 or more players. If there are 5 or less players the hand is considered raked at $1.00.

Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
any reliable way besides sorting through pokertracker to determine how many PartyPoints you've accumulated without waiting until 10 am EST (and by then it's too late?)
Also, can you accumulate them all before 10 am EST, or do they want before midnight. I couldn't find it in the fine print. |
Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
Points are earned on that day only..anything after midnight est is conidered the next day. Dont know of any other way to check points unless you are clearing a bonus as well.

Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
my party points are not updating. I had 6033 when I started yesterday, and after 250 raked hands, I have.....6033 this morning.
If it's not one thing it's another. |
Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
party points usually don't update until after 10am EST.
sometimes i think people just want to complain about party for the sake of complaining about party. |
Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
After 10am, no party points update, clicked on the magic card thing, they say i didn't play enough hands... anyone having any luck with this?
|
Re: Party Magic Card Promotion
It often takes until 11am EST for points to update. Don't worry about it.
