What is your poker dream ? LC - Just for fun.

Every month posters like to post their poker aims for the forthcoming month.

Finish reading a certain poker book, play some 6-max, build the bankroll high enough to move up a limit, etc...

This is a more light hearted post, for posters to possibly express their future poker hopes, aspirations or maybe even dreams.

So to kick things off, I would like to say that one day I would like to win the annual $10,000 NL WSOP held in Binions Horseshoe.

Of course, I would have qualified through a succession of satellites, with an inital cost of $10. I would also be wearing a "2+2" T-shirt with MICROS emblazoned across it.

The WSOP ME isn't held in Binion's now. Well, the final few tables are, but the rest is in the Rio.

I have a recurring dream in which I LOSE the WSOP ME to Phil Hellmuth when he rivers a royal flush to beat my quad-aces. Then I say "if it weren't for luck I'd win every one" and punch him in the face.

That sounds good to me !

I actually quite like Phil Hellmouth. Not because of his obnoxious behaviour. But because he seems interesting to watch.

I would have preferred if you had won the WSOP in your dream.

Had one dream a few months ago where I was dealt 99 and didn't flop quads. Woke up in a cold sweat; sucked.

Can I change my poker dream to seeing this happen?

Only works if you add a Mother-F*cker and say it in your best Sam Jackson yell.

Make enough at the micros that I can live a comfortable college lifestyle, ie. never have to bum weed off anyone.

If I make it to the WSOP Main Event, I intend on waiting for a hand that will probably make the TV highlight and saying "snakes on a mother-[censored] plane, man."

I would be crowned a god in OOT. Not that that's really worth anything, but being a god is always nice.

God I'll stake you if you can guarantee getting that on TV. I'd go w/ one of the better ones from that thread though.

I'm with you, but it has to be a POKER dream, so the girls must be Jennifer Harman and Carmel Petresco.

My real dream is to play a live low-limit game and not feel deep pity for almost half the people at the table. I'm a simple man.

My poker dream? I always seem to have about 12 cards and know I should be able to make at least 2 hands that beat any of my opponents' offerings but can't seem to figure it out.

Gah. I feel more naked than that time I... well, nevermind.

There'd be no way I could guarantee that, though. They'd almost certainly be able to edit it out. If I remember right, in last year's broadcast ESPN only showed profanity in three instances:

1. the 90-year old guy (that was just funny)
2. the annoying British prick in the stank-ass Beckham jersey (but making that much of a horse's ass out of myself would negate the cool factor of saying "SOAMFP")
3. Mike Matusow: important for his "character development."

So I'd probably have to be at the featured table, wait for a big important all-in clash between two big stacks or pros, and slip it in just as they're dealing the river card, assuming it's still relevant and neither player is drawing dead. That'd be an inconceivable parlay, and even then I'd probably have to do something else of importance for them to even mention it was me.

I can still dream, though, and if you still wanna offer a stake, I'll take it.
