pokerprochris, being a decent human being is not always valued when it comes to online poker. I agree that taunting someone after winning a pot like this is pretty disgusting regardless of the situation, but whatever...so many people do it it seems. Anyway I just hate people who do stuff like this, its so sick.

I don't know you cardshark, but I feel bad for anyone who cannot simply accept a 10k gift and instead feels that along with this 10k they also have to get the satisfaction of taunting and humiliating their opponent. Why do you even play poker if you can't behave like a decent person when you win a gigantic pot? How do you behave when you are losing?

I'm just tired of people who behave like assholes at the table and everyone pretending like its totally okay.

I agree with curtains. I'm always suprised when a winning player acts like this, and I usually then question whether or not they are a winning player. Lashing out at opponents is evidence of a significant leak.

Poker can be a very frustrating game, and no one is perfect. I've slipped and said things I know I shouldn't, and I've seen some very respected 2+2ers do it too. But it's certainly not something to be proud of.

I agree. It's probably a leak but sometimes some piece of [censored] [censored] moron is sucking out on you left and right and when you finally get your money back it feels good and you want to let him know to go [censored] himself.

I'm sure getting 10K of it in one hand off some "[censored] bastard" is beyond orgasmic and my keyboard fingers might slip a "STICK IT IN YOUR ASS" too.

I probably should have waited till I calmed down to post this cuz now I'm labeled as a giant [censored], but it sounds like most of you would be able to play emotionless poker when maniac man is busy taking 4 buy ins from you. Anyway I get very pissed off and all I want to do is get him back. So I build my 2k stack to 10k in 30 min and this pot happens and it felt really good. I only said about 2 lines of chat that I'll see if I can find. It wasn't anything horrible, I just called him an a-hole. I usually don't say stuff to people unless I'm on tilt, but this was a heat of the moment thing and I wanted to let the guy know what i felt about him. Obviously not very classy, but I was so worked up at the time I didn't give a shi.t.

Most of you guys win a lot more than me because of how worked up I get when I'm losing, so I already know its leak, but I don't think this hand specifically is.

And as far as reads go I obviously had some sort of read. Back when I had a 2k stack whenever I would repop him he always would just fling his whole stack in.

In this hand villain can't put me anywhere near an overpair. After he pushed on the I just thought that his hand was most likely a draw, rather than a made hand. Earlier he slowplayed his trip deuces and if he had a hand I just didn't think he would try to force me out like that. Also there is the maniac factore. So I sat there thinking I was most likely good, but it just wasn't worth it, and then at the last second I said fck it and called.
