PARTY MAINTENANCE
 

i never play at this hour so i've never really had to deal with this 'table maitenance' crap with party. how long are the tables usually down? i'm trying to decide if i should go do something else.

Its usually pretty quick...then again this is party so you never know.

Might be a while, usually its just a server restart and it is right back up.

so when they say it's down until 10:30AM EST they're just giving a really safe estimate to safe face in the event of some unexpected problem or something?

No, they will be down for awhile then, I thought it was just another server restart, which is usually fairly quick.

You're not the real joker, PP is. And it is an especially big joke that they don't announce in advance when a restart/mainenance will occur like stars does, and the only clue you have is that tourneys won't be going until a certain time, which for players like me that don't do tourneys can often be missed.

play money usually stays up when they have a server restart or maintenance, and now it is down, so they might be doing a major update (either on server or client side)

Something for the VIP's. When I closed my tables the only account balance shown in lobby was play money ($1000). I clicked the "real money button" and a pop up message came up. It said something like your real money balance is locked, see special promotions you are entitled too with a link. Link went nowhere cause servers down.

this is getting [censored] ridiculous.

they were down for a few hrs on monday, which screwed up my playing, now i get up early to play a session before i leave town and they are [censored] down with no advanced warning.

god i hate party.

When they say it's down until 10:30AM EST it will usually be up again around 1:00 PM EST. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

this is all i was hoping for. now if I could get the construction outside to not wake me up at 7am when I went to bed at 5 I would be all set.

They have certainly been f'ing up lately. Besides the shutdowns they have screwed up my cashouts. I made 7 cashouts sine the 27th of March and two of them have not arrived. I noticed something unusal when I made those cashouts too. I always cashout strange amounts (like $699.18 instead of $700) for tax purposes. Only on these two cashouts when I tried to do a strange amount it would round to the nearest dollar and leave the cents in my account. I know it must be realted becasue these are the only two that haven't arrived and the 5 cashouts made AFTER these two have gotten to me. Anyone else expirence this?

Haven't experienced any cashout problems, but certainly noticed 6-seater cash games breaking up a heck of a lot more frequently [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Maintenance extended from 10:30 to 11:30 EDT now. I guess it's hard arranging billions of 1s and 0s in the proper order though.

Whenever I've tried to withdraw cents they've always just taken the dollar amount (400.27 became 400). Thought that's how it was for everybody.

Well, Empire is also down... having announced scheduled maintenance for the same long time period. And it would take hours to migrate data from one database to another, as would be required to merge two sites.

okay now i still can't connect but when it pops open the webpage to tell me the server status both servers say they are running very good..
I guess skipping class to play poker was not a good idea today.
