I do think the Jags are going to have a lot of trouble doing anything on offense, while the Pats will be able to get 17-21.

Ya they have a very good defense have a decent offense and should keep the game close. If I were a New England Fan I would not want to see Byron Leftwich drving down the field at the end of the game with chance to win because he is a great winner and will do whatever it takes. I think Jacksonville will keep it within a score and then who knows, but it should be a close game.

If you have TIVO pause the game for a second or two and then restart and listen to the station that is ahead of ABC, personally I don't have such a vendetta against Madden.

No. He had a monster PECOTA projection last year, but it was shrugged off based on a small sample. I think his projected WARP last year was 2nd of all prospects.

I'm a bit surprised his projection didn't drop off a bunch, as his 2005 wasn't all that stellar (in AAA at least).

they looked blah during the 1st half (offense) but jacksonvilles defense seemed really tough.
