Ted Forrest\'s Moustache At Mirage Poker Showdown
Ok, What was the deal with Ted Forrest's semi moustache at the final table of the Mirage Poker showdown as shown on tonight(3/9's) WPT?
I am almost certain there was some sort of side bet involving John Hennigan, or Huck Seed, that Ted lost and thus had to sport a semi-stache at the TV table. If anyone can fill in the details of about the where abouts of Mr. Forrest's moustache that would be great. |

Is it just me or does Ted look like the type of guy who may or may not know where some bodies are buried in the desert? Also, he has some sick game, making huge laydowns, knowing people's cards, has anyone else noticed how often on various shows he'll call an opponents hand after the hand is over and be right about it, like last night calling out that the amateur from New York had 10 10?

Thank You for the post. I wanted to post about Ted's stache, but didn't have the courage. Ted Forrest rocks! I wish I had 1/10 of his skill, but the combination of those sunglasses and moustache was kinda gay looking. |

The good news is that from the pictures I've seen of the HU tournament Ted seems to have gotten rid of his moustache. The bad news is he also got rid of his infamous $5 haircut.

What a great thread! When I saw Ted's mustache I thought he must have lost a prop bet. He had to have a 4 day mustache at the final table if.... and he lost.
He was also at another final table the next day and I just looked at some pictures from it. He still has the not-grown-in-mustache going on. So now I think it might be some kind of superstition thing. He decided not to shave as long as he was winning. Two final tables in two days... maybe it was working for him. And of course you can never underestimate the power of mustache tilt. |
