Everything must be easy to order online with a credit/debit card and obv be delievered. I live in california. I will pick the submissions I like best and If I like your item/price the best you will get 20$ on ft. Price doesnt matter a whole lot, but I will not pay for a brand name for the sake of the name and function>everything else.
I need: 1.) Desktop(no overkill, will probably only be playing poker on it, but it still needs to be nice and not get outdated easy and have enough ram and and space n what not) I'll be running two 30'inch dells on it so it needs a graphics card that can support this or w/e. 2.) TV needs to be a flat screen around 46 inches (cant go too big its going in my bedroom) 3.) sweet comfortable computer chair i have terrible posture 4.) Nice desk that will fit in a smallish room but be big enough for 2 30 inch dells and some other shizz 5.) A porcelyn rooster, dont ask just get it (Not many requirements for this one, I will just pick the best submission) (Bonus if you can get it as close to looking like the FT avatar rooster as you can) 6.) laptop, remember function is everything and I will probably only really be playing poker on it so no over kill/paying for looks/brand name. JUST GET QUALITY So Find it the cheapest you can but the best, if I buy what you suggested you will get 20 bucks. People can qualify for more than one product. gogogogogo |

a few comments / questions about the laptop:
1) how much do you know about computers? i ask because you could buy a laptop without an operating system installed (which saves hella money). if you WANT Vista, you should reconsider, but if you get it w/o operating system and have a copy of XP you could use or whatever you use, you'd save money. if you want help on how you could do this, let me know. 2) are you running your laptop into a monitor? are you only using it when you're traveling? when are you using it? i don't know what size screen you want, hard drive size, RAM, etc, because if you're only using it when traveling you could probably get a really cheap one that'd be WAY MORE than fine for your purposes, but it'd have probably 13 inch screen, not as powerful, whatever. and if you're plugging it into monitor, it doesn't matter what size screen is obv. but if you're going to use it pretty often, that'll change some of what you may want in it. Hewlett Packard Compaq 6710B - $649 (probably can find cheaper) http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-...ok.4457.0.html Hewlett Packard Compaq Presario V5000Z - $549 http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/hp-c....html?tag=prod best (essentially) bare bones laptop with the best base price you'll find on any laptop. have used one personally, it was definitely more than $549 worth of machine, and for poker you definitely don't need more than this. this is probably best bet, unless your uses for it extend past what you've said. in all seriousness though, if you're interested in talking about getting a macbook pro, or at least would entertain hearing an argument in favor of doing so, let me know. you're paying $2,000 for a mac (infinitely better than XP, LIGHT YEARS ahead of Vista), the macbook pro is the FASTEST VISTA LAPTOP, which is really lol, but obviously you can run XP/Vista when you need to or are playing, and i think if you haven't really used it much you'll like mac os x a LOT, especially leopard. again, don't know how computer-savvy you are, but we can talk if you want. The Z-Line Gemini desk. I like it a lot, assembly required (you gotta put in your zip code to see it). It's very sturdy when put together and you can really abuse the hell out of it and it's cheap enough that you can buy another if something ever happens to it. Also, Staples will give you furniture protection plan for like $10 more, and you call them up if anything's wrong with it, and they'll give you a cash card to buy a new one (though you can buy whatever with it... I had a chair that broke and ended up getting a different cheaper chair and some other stuff with the card they sent me). The "raised" area on the main part of the desk is optional and doesn't have to be attached, but either way it's def large enough for 2 30" monitors. |
