HU Blinds are 250/500 ($5)

Is this ok?

What about this? Villain raised (without pushing) a few times with the blinds really high - I never knew what to make of it.

(just noticed the converter got the button/BB mixed up)

i dont think this makes sense. id rather check and see a flop with 10+ BB HU. 87s doesnt play that well HU.

SAGE recommends jamming with 87s only if the short stack has 6BB or less.

I see the mixup with BB/SB. In this case id probably just fold, although if the BB is weak/passive, maybe you can call BB.

Both look fine to me. In first hand are you SB?

44 is standard and 87s is standard unless he is calling redonkulously wide.

Thanks.

DMMX I had to google SAGE.
I found this article. Interesting:

Think about how often he's folding his weaker hands, your win % when called, and the fact that folding costs x chips, and you'll see why shoving wide is goooooot in hand 1.

Hand 2, 5 blinds, heads up, a pair, all in gooooooooot, dont bring that weak [censored] in my house crystal.

"SAGE recommends jamming with 87s only if the short stack has 6BB or less."

Really? I don't believe sage counts straights so it underrates shoving with sooted connectors.

Edit: Ooops, criticized crystal's article but was wrong , apparently sage is only good for 7 blinds or less which is weird.

Rake - the point is that 76s is worth 22 "points," meaning you push with 6BB or less. Not the exact value of 76s.

Re: HU Blinds are 250/500 ($5)

WTF? Hero has 87s, not 76s, and can be pushed for over 20 BBs, and called for 6.5, per Nash EQ, of which sage is a quick approximation-- though with 7 bbs, you can shove just about *almost* anything suited, andy hand with a Queen in it or better, J7o+, T7o+, 98o.

I like both.

I only fold 1st if I saw him call previous pushes with Q6 / J8 of something like that.

lol

That article is a review of SAGE. The authors didn't like it.

At the bottom are reviews of other systems including Sklansky's and Scott Fischman's SNG strategy.
It looks like Sklansky's was best.
