$16: TP vs turn gaybet

This kind of play seems like a weak hand/draw hoping for a cheap showdown. I guess most will just call. Would it make a difference if you had AQ?

wank bet. Getting 6 to 1 I call and hope for a cheap showdown

I think I'd raise.
I am not a very tolerant person.
Most likely hand is a flushdraw, and he supposedly calls a raise to something like 400.
AQ: yeh, the difference is that I'd raise preflop pretty often.

yeah sorry i realized that afterwards, i guess a better way to word it would have been if you flat call the turn bet what's your minimum hand to raise with.

Re: $16: TP vs turn gaybet

I think I prolly raise any toppair and maybe even more, but I don't raise them hard, just for thin value from his weak pair/flushdraw.
It obviously depends on villain's aggression(I hate to face a RR on the turn since I don't think we can really it), but I think just calling the turn gives up some meters on the long and hard journey to valuetown.

Yes I'd raise it preflop. Although I'd propably still check/call him on consecutive streets.

I'd raise it pf, but in a $16 SnG we might get better spots to make to pot big pf, so it's o.k.

I think I call the weak bet on the turn, call down if a scary comes on the river, and make a slight valueraise on the river if a nonscary comes.

It's not like he said anything really bad about homosexuals.
Acting kinda weak is part of the gay culture, don't you think?

Re: $16: TP vs turn gaybet

i dont think theres a problem with raising, i think a lot of his range is weird draws, occasionally a hand that made 2 pair but i think value and protection outweigh wanting to get to cheap showdown, hed raise pf and/or bet flop with most of his really strong holdings so we can eliminate most of those from his range.

You are [censored] kidding me. This bet is frowned upon, it's considered bad. The term is used derogatory.
And NO, of course "acting kinda weak" has got nothing to do with "gay culture". Wtf?
