Shove, get called by worse hands.

What if we had 1400?
In other wors, when do you start shoving?

Re: $16 - AK raise/push

1400 or lower is a good point. We can standard raise vs better /tighter opponents because we can entice reshoves from AQ,AJ who might not be calling if we shove. With 2 big stacks behind here, though, I'm def shoving.

Re: $16 - AK raise/push

I go from 1500 here. By 1500, shoving is still obv. +EV, but you can play the hand raising without it being super-awkward as well. So anythin less than 1500, i'm likely to shove, and around 1500 i raise it.

I like this and play it the same.

Re: $16 - AK raise/push

When we start shoving too much, we often fold out AJ & then sometimes AQ which sucks. Short handed, especially, standard raising invites worse hands to shove over our raise which is much better.

Do you think that someone who reshoves with AJ would fold it to 14 BB shove?

Yes cos Norman always says that you can't call off all your chips but if you make the last raise it's ok

Didn't think that far yet I just don't want to get called and I think 250 gets called by SCs and pps and only legit hands shove.

I'm shoving a bit more than 15BBs with AK.

If we start shoving 'too much' donks will call us looser. Spite calls bc we shoved a couple hands in a row. Which makes me very happy when i have AK.

I might start 250'ing around 1400-1500.

Re: $16 - AK raise/push

I would shove here, given stack and position. What possible +ev could be gained from a raise?? and if you are open folding here, you better have seen something (maniacs?) to believe that at least 2 players will call any bet.
