one of them is ridiculously bad, one is bad but not as terrible as that, one is close either way so cant be that bad, one is std. the ones that are bad are the ones that happened when his stack was biggest though.

i agree that there isnt too many bad moves in a donkament but these examples are pretty bad. if thats how he played in the past to have all that success, then i need to re learn.

Re: LilHoldem Meltdown

i dont hate on him at all...i'm just saying that how can you tilt off a majority of your stack like that when such a huge cash is right there. Even after the beats he still tilt-shoved 500,000 with 104o. wtf is that? and if he doesn't try to push that guy off his set with 109s no pair/no draw he's still at one million with 24 left. Add to all of this that he's considered one of, if not the top, online tourney player.

Re: LilHoldem Meltdown

the only tilt i see is on the T9 hand. i dont get where everyone is saying hes tilting his whole stack away

shoving on a 10bb stack bvb with ahuge range is fairly std

the only hand that is tilt here is the Td 9d hand, everything else is standard donkament play.. He didnt tilt-shove 500,000 with T4o, he open shoved 10xBB from SB with any two as every other good tourney player would have done

Hand 2 is very standard.

It's the open with 44 UTG+1 at a near full table that's so thin, not the all-in call (Which I don't think anyone would question).

[/ QUOTE ]

He had QTo in hand #1, the guy with the flush told everyone that (see hand #3 where he says it - MakiGoto said, "he had QT".) OBV he has to call with 44 once he's raised. But the raise UTG+1 is THIN AT BEST with these stack sizes. Count in the fact that his image is [censored] right now and he's never folding out any pair (which maybe he can fold out 55-88 in a normal spot), and the raise is horrible. If you think raising with 4s here UTG+1 when your folding equity has most likely just plummeted than you "aren't a good poker player."

Pudge714 11-26-2007 11:56 PM

Re: LilHoldem Meltdown

Deep in the millions guys will play overly nitty a lot of the shorties should definitely be folding 55-88 here, opening 44 is probably +EV, but I don't feel like doing the math, regardless it isn't a huge mistake.
Edit: Shoving 40k here is +CEV raising and calling the shoves of the 40k stacks is similar enough although it is probably more +CEV since you can win pots postflop and my ranges could be too loose.

Most of these hands look terrible, and I disagree that hand #2 is standard unless these guys are playing super tight. These antes are a little too small to be donking it up preflop in early position, especially in a MTT where getting to the final table is so important.
