Took me 3 months to beat NL100 (1/2 blinds back on party) for over 2 ptbb/100.

Took me 12 months to "turn pro" and drop out of college and just play cards.

Right away - I started off losing less at 1/2 lhe than I was making as a prop and lived in a country with a weak currency.

Then I became medium stakes player and made some monies. Then I went travelling and the games got hard and I backed into an industry job.

So I still make a living from poker but not from playing.

started played in january 2007 seriously + reading many books
started making $$ in small stakes SNGs and MTTs after reading harrington on holdem
fastforward now 11 months into it, making a decent profit 4 tabling 100NL , about 4 PTBB/100

oh ya i forgot to mention , gonna go get my degree next year
while using the income from poker to support my studies and living expenses
