I\'m joining every $4/180man until I win one
 

Earlier today I was doing a normal session and I had a nice stack in two 180 tournaments. With two tables to go in both of them some very questionable and unfortunate hands came up and I went from being like 5/12 and 3/10 to being out 12th and 9th... I was frustrated with myself because I should have gone deep at least one of the final tables so from now until I can't open my eyes any longer, I'm going to join every $4/180 until I win one. Wish me luck.


EDIT: IF anyone wants to cheer me on then I play under Lord_Strife on stars also

I'm not tilting at all, I consider this one of those motivational things... going to win another one for sure... I gotta work tomorrow night so I can't realistically invest unlimited time into it...

Same. I would have liked to have like $8 turbos, $4 reg, and $16 turbo (180s obv) Would have been fine by me, and the more turbos they have, the more money they make from rake, win win.

The $8 turbos would be sick, I couldn't even imagine $4 180s. There would prolly be one every 3 mins.

i actually meant that i like the regular tourneys better than turbos when it comes to multi table sngs. i dont play $4 ones because thats too low but i would play the $11 ones if they didnt change them to turbos was my point.

I think they should have smaller turbos... I like the turbos better but at the same time I think the players are generally better in turbos and the play is less exploitable, but much better on the hourly rate. Gotta take the good with the bad i guess.

Yeah you're probably right... I think I might do a challenge like this for myself in the middle of the week because I'm not working Tues/Wed/Thur so maybe i'll start whenever I wake up tuesday and play until I win one... no matter how long it takes.

Due to some said realizations and some reminders by shaundeeb, I'm going to be postponing this until Tuesday or Wednesday. Whichever day I decide, I'm going to play 180mans until I win one, no matter how long it takes... I have the bankroll and the skills to win another (yeah I've won one already). So I'll make an official thread if anyone wants to sweat it with me.

anyone wanna prop? ill do up to 10k he gives up. rules are he starts, has to play every $4/180 if he misses one he is DQ'ed, no max tournies/time limit, but he has to win 1. holla at me

Can I do this with $12/180s?

Also I think there can be a stipulation he can miss a tourney for certain reasons like being high and forgetting, I mean I don't know how often they start at peak times but it can be easy to do.

So one or two missed randomly shouldn't count, only if he misses like 10-15 minutes continuously or w/e

If I was allowed to coach him for 1 hour prior I would prob take that bet and give him 10% for motivation. Also you can't outbid me to rig this against me [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

ill def do this against you, but 6 hour time limit since i know u can play all damn day, lemme know.. oh and by 10k i meant like 1k, haha. ill def bet on the lord_strife guy not completing, he hasnt played too much volume and dont think he'll last that long, no coaching gfdfgds

I'll give you action against your winning one before you sleep or whatever. I'll also do some sort of challenge where we both play until we win one, straight-up. I hope you won't take it personally if I note that I don't know you so would need some sort of anti-cheating measure or vouching, etc. I'd also be game for a similar bet at the 12/180's.
