NL100,Tough spot AK preflop

$0.50/$1 No Limit Holdem

Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG (<font color="#0000cc">$237.80</font>)
CO (<font color="#0000cc">$81.70</font>)
BTN (<font color="#0000cc">$23.80</font>)
Hero (<font color="#0000cc">$275.75</font>)
BB (<font color="#0000cc">$122.00</font>)

Pre-flop: ($1.5, 5 players) Hero is SB A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="#777777">2 folds</font>, BTN calls $1, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $6.50</font>, <font color="#cc0000">BB bets $28</font>, <font color="#777777">BTN folds</font>, Hero ?

It' not so easy spot how can we see. BTN- loose maniaac who can't fold. That's why i increase my raise preflop for just push him on any flop. BB unknown and he can understand that i haven't AA,KK,QQ. He knows who is BTN too. Push preflop or we can just call ?

folding or shoving are both fine tbh

i think i muck it this time, as his line looks pretty strong

Totally game flow dependent. If it has played passively and you guys have not 3bet eachother too then you should probably fold. However, if you have been isolating BTN light it gets tougher.

On FTP this is a super standard shove imo. But on party it is not.

Shove or 4bet so he can make a mistake and call/shove. Just don't fold/call.

Don't care, just dont fold.
If you call you gotta shove over his cbet on lots of flops

Thank's for your replies. But if BB calls we can just shove ? BB can have very wide range(55+,KJ+,QJ+,J10s+). Can we call this? I think not but maybe you have another opinions?

If BB has that wide of a range this is an easy easy easy shove.

If I'm up for the session I shove. But seriously either shove or fold. Player and read dependant tho.

shove shove shove, pretty standard, plus its blind vs blind. And i read in the cheese thread that thats a reason to play like a retard.

Re: NL100,Tough spot AK preflop

my thinking is that a SB isolation raiser is usually having a pretty tight raise. if i am in the BB and a TAG isolates in the SB i probably just muck AJ/AQ even tho i have position.

villain is unknown so i usually take a cautious line first
