200 nl AK pre against 67/2 donk

200nl villain is 67/2 over 151 hands. With only raising 2% is this ever anything but AA or KK? Also villain was at $500 a half hour ago and lost a lot on donk cals and chasing.

Who limps from the cut-off and expects a re-raise to push over?

Sounds like a tilt-shove to me.

I call.

Maybe so, but someone with a 67% VPIP is necessarily stupid.

Stupid people necessarily do stupid things.

We're in bad shape to ONLY 6 combos of AA and KK. We dominate a lot of his range, and we're flipping for the rest of his range.

Re: 200 nl AK pre against 67/2 donk

a 67% vpip can certainly limp KK+ here, but he'll almost always just call your 3bet and be like LOLOL GONNA TRAP YOU ... they hate it when people fold preflop when they have KK+

Re: 200 nl AK pre against 67/2 donk

untrue, in the past week I've had this same situation (CO or Button limp) then 3 or 4-bet AI after the blinds raise and the fish has AA/KK a good portion of the time. That said I still call.

Fold.. It's a limp-> 4 bet shove.. Never a bluff enough to make calling with AK good here.. GG

when a 67/2 limp-reraises, he has AA or KK.

or very occasionally Q4o (but not occasionally enough to call here).

with a 2%pfr we obviously dont dominate his range, but if hes been losing he is probably steeming and you cant give up a chance to stack a donk ... call

Sometimes, you have to give up a chance to stack a donk, because if they win they might quit, and if they lose they will quit. You are so [censored] here, it is not even funny. Fold.

Usually, I muck everything but AA or KK to limp reraises from players like that and feel good about it. Itīs a dead give away, but in this situation I don't know if I'd have the discipline to lay it down. Very read-dependant...

---edit---
Ranma is probably right though. If he's steaming there'll hopefully be a better spot to get his stack. Just hope noone beats you to it...

this is normally wrong. when you are 200bb deep with a donk it is even more wrong.

Why flip with a 67/2 guy for 75bb? Chances are, if he hangs around you can get your money in against him WAY better than 50/50... The $20 he takes in this hand is only temporarily his.

If this was 100% to be a flip, you should always do it, but it usually isn't a flip.

Agreed - the times it's not a flip + the times it is a flip and he wins and just leaves = why expose yourself to it. It's not like getting money out of the guy is hard @ 67/2... I'd happily flip a nit all day for 75bb but this guy...meh.
