So I was thinking that since there is a Politics and like hundred million Holdem forums, I would ***officially*** request a religion forum.

I was raised a Baptist, but recently fell on hard times with my poker playing. Now I re-found God and would like to share my experience with others facing similar conundrums.

Religion belongs in SMP, BY DEFAULT. A religion forum would last about 2 seconds. Think about it, what would you debate? And with who?

Now tell me what category of thread would be better served in 'religion' than 'SMP'? And I'll give you the answer.

You guys are all missing the point. The point of a religion forum isn't to have religious discussion (which, btw, does not belong with philosophy any more than astrology, tarot card reading or ghost sightings)... the point of having a religion forum is to get all the religious people to post in one isolated place, so the rest of us can ignore them in peace.

I would support a joint religion &amp; politics forum, with the current politics being turned into "current events" or something. Kills two birds with one stone. In honor of the inventor, we can call it the Troll Forum.
