Rank The Different Colours Of Skittles
 

Me and a friend are debating this on msn right now.
The original style of skittles has 5 colours:
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, and Purple.
Taste-wise, Purple > Red > Orange > Yellow > Green imo.
What say you?

In fact, I eat all the green, yellow and purples first so I'm just left with a bag of red and orange deliciousness.

Red=Yellow=Green=Orange=Purple afaic. I don't think I've ever consciously discriminated against skittles.

I think generally, my least favorite flavor for the next bite is the flavor of the last bite. I want a new flavor, not a bag left with all red.

One of the reasons I like Skittles is that it gives me a long eating process while I work. (Instead of a snickers, which goes in 3 bites.) I tend to pour out the pack onto my desk and eat whichever color looks the most populous.

This is probably non-standard.

uhh, they are blackcurrant in the UK so that's not applicable to me.

I like red the least, as synthetic strawberry is usually a disaster. So:

Green > Yellow >> Purple >> Orange >>>> Red is probably about right.

But even though I dislike red, I will always eat them so that I can always alternate colours (someone earlier said about how they dislike having 2 on the trot), thereby avoiding a cache of one tone. How lame and OCDish I may be.

Wow, I'm surprised so many people dislike the purples.

Purple > Red > Orange >>> Yellow > Green

The purple/red/orange will occasionally switch places, but they're always better than the yellow and green. And yeah, I tend to be another color-alternater, though sometimes I eat all the yellows and greens in a handful first to get them out of the way.

I'll go with Red>Purple>Orange>Green>Yellow

However, skittles are too small and to make this a necessary distinction, I just eat a hand full anyway. A much more important candy color ranking is original starburst:

Pink>Red>Orange>Yellow
