I'd block bet or c/c.

Block betting seems good, like t200.

c/c and get potential value from missed draws.
I think a better king most likley reraise that turn.

I would check call. The board is terrible, and it seems like your not getting called by enough worse hands to block bet.

Also i would of bet more on the turn. like t200, just because there are not that many hands that are going to fold for 30 chips more, so you might as well charge them the max.

Do I want them to fold for 30 chips more?

[/ QUOTE ]No, I think he's saying they aren't going to fold so take the opportunity to get some chips in there, since you've probably got the best hand at this point.

[/ QUOTE ]I like the block bet here. I'm not too worried about a call or a fold. I'm worried about whether or not villain will make a bluff that I have a hard time calling - if we check, he just might, if we bet, more likely not. It's an attempt to control the cost of the river so we can show this hand down cheaper. If villain raises, we can be pretty sure we're beat and let it go.

Edit: Oh, and -

Diamond draws, I'm assuming. There might also be some weird running straight draws (Q8?) that didn't make it, though a number of more likely ones would have (QJo, J9, JT) and almost any feasible straight draw has at least a pair.

I think a bet is terrible here. What hands that you beat are going to call you? Maybe QT. What hands that you beat are going to fold? None.

I would check and call up to 350 or so, however this number would change depending upon my reads.

I wouldn't call a whole lot on the river

yah. i think you gotta c/c here and really just have to work out your calling number. thats the most important part of the hand now. i think for me around 300 chips would be correct. Factor in how poorly the tables playing and what sort of player your against. but what i'm really looking to do is not make this a crippling call so that your stuck in a push mode or some imbetween mode.

Re: $16 - Trips Kings, bet river?

How would an ultra small blocking bet be here, like 120 or so. Is that a good balance of losing the minimum when you are beat (if villain calls with a higher K or naked J), knowing you are beat (if villain raises you are most likely beat, and you won't be chk/possibly calling a 250-350 bet and having to guess if you are ahead) and extracting a bit of value if you are ahead and villain thinks his Q or T is good?
