Yeah probably, but more importantly what exactly do you think this bet means? could easily be a cheap semi bluff IMO but im not sure, hate it when people do this

it means you lose.

I don't think the pot is big enough to do anything but fold here.

I interpret this turn lead as something like BP/MP that wasn't strong enough to c/r the flop but now wants to charge flush draws, or a straight draw that picked up the flush draw too. something like Qs8c. I think a flush is possible some of the time too

hopefully villain will drop by at some point and enlighten us

Im not debating it, I fold here too we have a weak hand and no good redraws its a no brainer IMO. Im just curious how you intrepret his play here coz it confuses me when people take this line

Right - I mean without a strong read (as in, villain is tilty/FPSy Heisenberg, which this isn't) fold is reasonably easy, but wtf does he have?

Re: tough 2p2 donks turn scare card

I dont think folding here is that easy cuz his line is bs

No c/r with fd on this flop? bs

No c/r on flop with Ax? Maybe, but I lean towards bs

This looks like Jx or 9x that dont wanna hand out free cards.

Against a range of those hands and the possibility of picking up the pot on a spade river I dont think folding here is "easy".

Not saying I call. But when people play bs lines you should at least think twice before you fold.

I dunno bro, confuses the [censored] out of me when good players do this.

Coming from a true donk ive noticed that it often means theyve turned a weak two pair but I really dont think thats the case here.

I would tend to agree with yourface I think his range is weighted towards pair/draw combos containing a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] which is why id usualy fold. Maybe some players do this with a naked [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I dont know.

Realy throws me off too when a good opponent takes his line, kinda annoys me...

in my experience, when good players take a b/s line, its a reverse psychology kind of thing. They realize that they are doing something that is confusing, but they want you to call down or raise with the exact hand we have.

sure it could be a gutshot + turn flush draw, the only problem is, that hand has about 20 outs on us.

Pot is small, we barely hit it, I'm folding here.

where did you get the idea that villians play the same as you? maiby his normal line is to c/c draws and donk when he hits them

Re: tough 2p2 donks turn scare card

don't fold....

In general, this is a good line to take on boards where you want the the caller to catch something on the turn to pay you off.

On a board this drawy/high you do not need to at all... So there's not too much merit in playing anything but a bluff like that.
Plus if you have a draw, c/c the turn reveals a lot about your hand (gooddraw/pair)...

Basically this is a fastplay flop, so a c/c, then donk to me on a 3 spade turn is suspicious not as a monster..

I think youll see a gutshot + spade draw here a very high % of the time.

Fold river if board sraightens or spades..

I think the only hand id play like this is J4s and a gutshot with a spade draw.

probably a multitable error... agree with hip - you lose; pot too small to draw

Re: tough 2p2 donks turn scare card

Ok, so I guess it was me, didnt want to be presumptuous that I'm 'tough'.

Anyway, I vaguely remember a hand or two where I forgot the preflop/flop action and I probably had Ax, but I will check later. Its also somewhat possible that I chose to c/c a flush draw and I'm going for a b/3b.

I played like 9k hands over the weekend so everything is kind of a blur.
