Re: AQ OOP hand
fine. however i might minraise the river.

Re: AQ OOP hand
bet bet bet ofc
|
Re: AQ OOP hand
Good for turn.
River raise/call depend on your stats in opp's eyes |
Re: AQ OOP hand
I really dislike your turn play, I would continue firing a bet of $300-400.

Re: AQ OOP hand
[ QUOTE ]
bet bet bet ofc [/ QUOTE ] this is only the obvious line if you're cts and everyone expects you to bet/bet/bet any two cards on this board. edit: i like your line ok but it occurs to me that when he bets turn so small you can put him in a sick spot by checkraising to like 600 |
Re: AQ OOP hand
think raise is standard on river.
should if your beat sometime your beat |
Re: AQ OOP hand
river is closer to a fold than a raise. Villian is very aggro iirc but you're still beat here a lot esp. as the only draw got there. not sure what his utg limping range looks like though that would help.
|
Re: AQ OOP hand
that's the thing.. CVP is like 20/14 so only worse ace he can limp is AJ, and even that seems unlikely because I think he'd just open raise those vast majority of the time.
i think this is close but a fold because I don't see the villain floating with air or valuebetting worse too often |
Re: AQ OOP hand
wtf who openlimps 5-handed. i probably betbetbet, but if i check turn this is how i play the rest mostly. maybe even c/f river, since he kinda knows where we stand and seems to want to get paiiid. but i dont know the villain personally
|
Re: AQ OOP hand
I think after c/c'ing turn, river b/f is a nicer line.
The reason is that he saw you c/c turn and will check behind with most weaker aces. So I'd say b/f > c/c |
expanding a bit.....questions....
I think a large part of my question is I'm really not sure what C____V___P is capable of here. He doesn't seem particularily crazy. I know if I bet river some of the better 10/20 players are capable of shoving as a bluff.
He seems like a pretty straight forward players almost similar to many 3/6 players. Does that seem about right for those of you that have played with him or do I just not have enough history? Also, whats up with the UtG limping at high stakes? Is it more +EV to limp both AJ+ and PPs instead of raise them both? are people still doing this with only pocketpairs a la $.10/.25? |
Re: AQ OOP hand
Unreal.
|
Re: AQ OOP hand
I like the way you played it but river is a fold.
This is because C____V____P should have here almost always a boat. If you beat him then he floatet you on the flop and bluff bet turn and river. I vote fold river. |
Re: AQ OOP hand
I vote you are insane if you fold this river.
|
Re: AQ OOP hand
TWP,
Do you know C____V____P? I agree it is an easy call vs most players BTW. |
