Re: One prob easy hand.
all good IMO. I'd fold A27Tss, even a good few positions later.

Re: One prob easy hand.
If SB was deeper you could call the flop here? I agree with the shove given the effective stack sizes, just thought I'd throw in a question of my own.

Re: One prob easy hand.
I would probably call if he was deeper, yes. And sometimes fold.

Re: One prob easy hand.
preflop is an easy fold for me.
you cant be ahead and you are oop. if you are raised you have to fold as you can be re-re-raised. so obviously after the raise I fold because I know I am folding a reraise. On the flop I call as I know I have to hit to win so I want as many callers as possible, I dont want to drive out players. I dont mind calling an allin reraise but I dont think SB is folding with his stacksize so I want max value. |
Re: One prob easy hand.
One difficult question,
what would you do if MP2 pushes ? I think you have to fold and feel very bad. |
Re: One prob easy hand.
i open this preflop, call sometimes, never fold. I fold the hand you mentioned. as played i just smooth the flop you have no fold equity and would like it if someone else came along. not to mention mp2 is sitting on 400bb deep

Re: One prob easy hand.
This hand's OK preflop since you're fairly connected and you've got the suited ace, but it's definitely on the loose side. This is about the worst hand I'd call with and at a table full of good players, I might dump it. AT72ss I'll open-fold on the button.
On the flop, I'd just call. You're going to have to fold to a raise from MP2 and if he calls after your raise, you're going to have no idea how to play any turn but a spade. Also, if you just call and MP2 decides to call with a combo draw, you could get paid off big-time if you catch him in a flush-over-flush scenario. |
