the fact that the management continually denied that the hand history evidence proved anything. (They left that part out in spite of the fact that they, Cardplayer, characterized that evidence as indisputable.) Thus the aspect of the case that I thought was most important, they thought was not even important enough to mention. I mean there is no other explanation for that ommission is there?

Are you kidding? Cardplayer is a joke. Its advertising cover to cover, reporting doesn't enter into the equation. They didn't report the most damning aspect of the story because the advertisers who fund them would prefer they not do so.

But seriously, Mr. Sklansky, if you haven't noticed by now, no mainstream media outlet has covered this issue since all the information has come out for like the last 3 weeks. I'm assuming you are talking about Cardplayer Magazine (which I don't read), because Cardplayer.com only featured like 1 article about a month ago on this scandal, and it basically just released AP's latest press statement (which as we all know are never entirely true and always hiding the details).

Good News: A new ESPN article should be coming in a few days.
Bad News: 3 weeks ago I was telling myself the same good news.

This is why someone like you needs to step up and bring the scandal to light Mr. Sklansky. I doubt you do though, at least not until you start about 500 more thread's on this subject.

I agree it's clear Cardplayer is more concerned with satisfying their advertisers than reporting the news. It's a rather revealing situation for the poker world.

On another note: people who continuously gripe about Skalansky multiple threads about a related topic need to find something better to do.

It's just too easy though. It's hilarious how his posts are always about something that the rest of the people on these forums figured out last month (Cardplayer doesn't cover this story? Really???) and posts it in a new thread as if it's some kind of revelation. (There's a 50/50 chance his next post will be "Breaking News- There Was DNA Evidence in OJ Simpson Murder Case".) I can't help but laugh to myself and I can't fault anyone here for making fun of him. I try my hardest to not make fun of him and his posts and have a serious conversation here, but what makes it even funnier is that Mr. Sklansky doesn't even want to have conversations. I notice that CardPlayer still accepts advertising from Absolute Poker, so it should not surprise David that they failed to mention that Absolute "continually denied that the hand history evidence proved anything". Consistent with David's "acting in one's own best interest theory".

At least Casinomeister had the guts to go "all in" and put Absolute on the list of "Rogue Casinos"
