Thanks Assani, I think this thread is for MTT'rs who are in more cuz its a tourney than cuz its PLO8.

I used to beat up to 3/6 LO8 on Party, then I took some shots that went poorly and stopped playing the game for a long time, never played PL other than a little donking around. This should be interesting. Won a sat and bubbled another (yay less cash than the buyin) so I'm hoping the field is soft and I last long enough to get a grip.

Going 0/8 or so in the 100 chippers didn't help my confidence

Pretty standard, though against adequate player you can always put him on nuts with a redraw to the flush.

PF raise is a bit loose, but not necessarily bad.

Hate the flop bet....why so much?

When he check/raises if hes decent(not guaranteed in a tourney) then its blantantly obvious that you're either quartered or hes drawing to quarter you. But in a tourney full of horrible players, its very possible that he just has A3 too.


Tough spot overall though....with the PR raise, you're almost certainly not getting away from it.
