Office help

I have a s-hole office with no windows. I'm trying to find plants that will survive with only flourescent lights, and having no luck.

Anyone have any suggestions?

This is not going to end well.

" I'm trying to find plants that will survive with only fluorescent lights, and having no luck."

Google the bolded part and delete your op asap, imo.

Edited for proper spelling of "fluorescent".

Goto your local Wal-mart, Home Depot Lowes etc. Goto the section of plants they have displayed inside.

Lucky Bamboo, cacti, most tropicals are fine indoors. If you get a desk lamp and put a compact fluoro in it about 6" from the plant you can keep almost anything.

Update: Got a 'begonia' which is really a pethos, a type of liaina vine. Apparently, these are pretty much unkillable.

I bought a nice $10 plant, and found a little wilted two-dollar guy that was on the 'clearance' (read: left to die)tray in Wal-Mart. It'll be my project. Watered the eff out of it, which was satisfying, and it's already perking up a bit.

Some of my co-workers have the lucky bamboo- I want one.
