Argument Paper-- TOPIC?
 

So I have to do a 8-10 page paper, just got the assignment today, have to choose a topic by tomorrow. I was thinking: perhaps something poker related, or something easy to type ten pages on.

I don't really know. Not too "driven" by any topic really. Any ideas for topics?

who do you think could kill more 5 year olds in 5 minutes? a guy with a knife, a guy with a bat, or a guy with a old-style non-automatic pistol that he has to keep reloading?

it can be any argument. The professor gave an example: one student ACADEMICALLY argued how NINJAS are better than PIRATES.

So, anything. I just have to argue it professionally and academically

think of something that has ton's of information about it - you don't want to put to much researching into it....

easy -WHY POT SHOULD BE LEGAL/ ILLEGAL - you can find lots of info on that.

Should college sports stars be compensated like Professionals do (should they be able to have endorsements)....

Why smoking should be banned in all bars and restraunts -

you don't have to actually agree or disagree - just go with whatever has the most aurguments to fill up the pages....

Don't choose a topic because it is easy. You'll end up boring yourself and your professor. Pretty much anything can be turned into an academic paper, so why not post some of your interests and go from there?

As a backup, you can always research and write a paper on the current state of poker legislation.

Exactly my though. You wouldn't even have to do any work, just browse the Legislation threads, find original ideas than find sources that back them up. EASY.
