Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
the first one i think you should have slowed down on the river and the second one is fine i think
|
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
1st one definitely slow down, you really have to put your opponent on a hand, will he call down multiple streets with a KJ or K10? Check behind on river. Seems like a very passive player.
2nd one is fine, you're not getting away from a full house. |
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
What everyone else has said is spot on. You have to exercise some pot control in hand 1 on the river. Hand 2 is a cooler.
|
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
2nd hand definitely a cooler!
1st hand is fine, too, imo. Why do we want to check behind on the river? I think KJ,K9 and other hands are calling. I play it the same. |
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
check back river on 1? nooooooooooooooo
wp op, running bad, playing g00t |
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
1st hand I check behind on the river against all but the biggest fishies.
2nd hand is a cooler. |
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
Hand 1 I check behind the river.
Hand 2 I probably can't fold either, but I'd expect to lose. |
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
lol @ check behind... you played both hands finds and just got unlucky
|

lol @ check behind... you played both hands finds and just got unlucky [/ QUOTE ] check behind on hand 1 is standard. I would bet the minority of the time, with reads. |
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
its at party, not at stars, so both hands are fine. At stars or FTP betting river is spew

Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
icheckcallu - did you seriously think you played these hands wrong? these are both pretty standard... i smell a disguised beat post here

icheckcallu - did you seriously think you played these hands wrong? these are both pretty standard... i smell a disguised beat post here [/ QUOTE ] no beat post but Im contemplating playing uber nitty style again since all my goddamn all in hands lost yesterday and today. probably like 15 of 20 hands I lost and which most of it I was ahead. |
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
good hands OP, both played xpert IMO
hand 1 is much closer than hand 2 fwiw |
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
Hand 1) Close, but not that close. Played well. Fish will find ways to call with worse.
Hand 2) Perfect. No discussion. |
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
both of these hands are standard, well played.
Not betting the river in hand one is bad in my opinion. We lose so much value from KJ, K9..which are obviously not folding TP on this river |
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
[ QUOTE ] 1st hand I check behind on the river against all but the biggest fishies. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Party Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game [/ QUOTE ] Confirmed. Bet river. edit: and really this is a bet against almost anyone. You're behind like one or two hands here against 99% of villains. |
Re: am i running bad or playing bad???
this two hands are very standard, don't get results oriented over 2 hands. If your losing over say 20K hands you might have some bad plays but these arent' them.
