Prison Escapee Spotted
 

Brag: I spotted a prison escapee.

Story:

At 5 AM this morning I was getting ready for work, and Breaking News comes on.

Saying how 2 men ages 20, and 27 escaped from the Mental Hospital, for the Criminally Insane. Both were involved in some Murder, and some other very serious issues. The Mental Institution is located no farther then 1 mile from my house. And my house is located in the first subdivision from the hospital.

So I figure hell Iam gonna go out drink my coffee and have a smoke.

Its 5:15 now and about half hour after they escaped.
Iam out having a smoke, and I see a man walking. Well it kind of hits me whats somebody doing out at this time, its so dark. I could barely see him, but I can see his face a little.

So I go up alittle to see maybe hes walking a dog, or listening to a radio or I-Pod, taking a morning walk.
No, Ipod, No coat (40 degrees or less) and I say [censored] and almost [censored] my pants.

So I am contemplating calling 911, or what. I think for a breif second we might have made eye contact, but not sure. So I shut my garage door, grab my keys, and Iam off hunting for this guy.

I drive which way he was walking toward, and the road he was walking has no turns, for about 500 yards or so. I drive down and he was GONE. I turn around to see if he was in the Cul-De-Sac, and nobody there. He was gone like no other.

I drove around incase he went another way and nope. Now I relize people are probably thinking maybe it was a neighboor on a walk near you and when I went to go get my keys he was home.

Well #1, it took me like 10 seconds to hop in my car. #2 I know all my neighboors around me, and none takes walk, except the one down the road, who works Mon-Fri in the morning. #3 No coat, no dog no nothing. Its freezing and dark, nobody goes out at 5 to walk alone.


So what do you guys make of this? I think when this guy saw me, he probably took of booking.

Didnt have cell phone. But I didnt want to call cops be4 incase just a walker.

But believe me if I saw him up close, and he looked suspicous I woulda knocked him out. I dont mess around when it comes to serious things like this.

Nobody needs this stuff going around, especially near a kid fulled community.

How is it possible to not have a cell phone?

Knocking out suspicious people seems like a great idea, imo.

OP, what did you hope to accomplish by following this guy in your car? You realize that he could just take off through some yards in the event that he hadn't done so already.

And what if he doesn't run? You going to run him over? Beat up an innocent neighbor or (try to) beat up a psychotic murderous prison escapee?
