Rate the level of play in the $200/$400 PLO games

Who's solid, who donates?

IMO the best are: PA, David Benyamine, and Ziigmund. They always seem to be sitting with a big stack.

Worst: Gus Hansen and MrSmokey1
Gus constantly gets his money in bad and always leaves me wondering wtf is going thru his head. MrSmokey thinks he's playing hold'em.

Thoughts? Opinions? What do I know, all these people have waaaaaaaay more money than I ever will.

OMGclay plays well wen he turns up.... not many winners in the game really apart from the 3 u listed and Dandock but he just a short stack idiot, most people tht seem to play are taking shots and never end up sitting around for long
even sbrugby has dropped limits as he had downswing of around 4mill just shows how hard these games are getting

I know KaiBuxxe (Niki) is UP huge for the year, but lately he's just been buying in short and getting sucked out on. He obv went on a huge downswing, and doesn't feel comfortable playing the nosebleed stakes with a full buyin (just my opinion, because he use to buyin for the max and reloaded whenever he'd fall below $40K).

sbrugby hasn't played the 200/400 game in a long time so I left him off the list

Was the #2 winner someone different from the 2 I named above?

pretty obv there´s three really good players - the three you mentioned -, everybody else is/will be a donator in the long run.

pretty sure niki will drop all his winnings. he lost 400k yesterday according to his blog (overcards.de, german).

Phil Ivey on his A-Game (rarely) > Niki = PA = Degenyamine > Ziigmund.

Niki is a high-variance player, likes to bluff alot / push players around with marginal holdings, thats why hes going like 600, 1mil, 15k, 3,2mil, around 2mil atm...

Everyone is a high variance player in these games, Benyamine has had a $2 million + downswing this year

I think the only person who can really beat this game is Ivey as said before me, when he's on his A game. It seems Ivey comes and plays just to toss around cash and see what he can make doing it. The few times I've seen Ivey actually play (usually by stating so after getting laughed and/or challenged at) is amazing.

DB, Kai, and everyone else are good, but definitely not the best. A few of the best would be OMGClay, PA (seems to be coming round less and less), and Ziig on a good day. BT, Genius, DaFool, Smokey are below DB and Kai.

Have to agree with this, not that I am under the impression that my opinion has any value whatsoever. I remember when DB was coming out of his downswing earlier in the year he had taken off a full (6-handed) PLO table, everybody had quit him and he was sitting on around 150K. Ivey joins the table and buys in for 16. Twenty minutes later Benyamine is sitting out with around 10K and change, having been simply dominated. 1 session, I know, but I have not before or since seen the aggressive Benyamine turned into the passive check-caller Ivey made him. At the end it was like he was cowering in the corner.

I also do not think Antonius can beat Ivey for the long term, even at HU NL.
