Re: 10k Foxwoods
just curious cuz i havent watched wpt in a while, are the announcers still retarded?
aka if the final table has, for example, durrr and a guy like miami john cernuto, are the announcers still referring to durrr as an "amateur who plays online" while referring to miami john as a "world class NL player" ? |

Table #1 Update - Douglas Foglio Eliminated in 30th Place ($18,914)
Tom "Durrrr" Dwan gets it all in preflop against Douglas Foglio. Foglio is all in for his tournament life when they flip up their cards: Dwan: 54 Foglio: AQ Board: A33102 Foglio is eliminated in 30th place by Dwan's rivered wheel and he will take home $18,914 in prize money. "That's what happens when you're young and fearless," says Cloutier as Dwan collects the pot. LOLLLLLLLL |

Re: 10k Foxwoods
durrr and Cloutier at the same table is seriously the alpha and the omega. I wouldn't be surprised if TJ's head just exploded.

Re: 10k Foxwoods
fatal error is still in as well.

Re: 10k Foxwoods
if nick wins would it be the first time a player wins the same WPT twice?

Re: 10k Foxwoods
just saw a video on cardplayer where jimmy tran calls durrrr "kid who gives away his chips", basically calls him a sucker and says he would love to play against him

Re: 10k Foxwoods
just search 'Jimmy Tran" on Cardplayer TV
|
Re: 10k Foxwoods
3 - Jimmy Tran moves all in for 391,000 and Daniel Shiff calls from the button (he has 386,000). Tran shows KQ and Shiff has him dominated with AK.
The board comes 87482 and Shiff doubles up to 800,000 while Tran is left with just 5,000. |
Re: 10k Foxwoods
LMAO - big bad TJ Cloutier is sh i tting his pants at the thought of playing a pot. every time he raises and takes it he flashes his hand if its good, basically trying to beg ppl not to play with him:
Hand #8 - TJ Cloutier raises to 75,000 and flashes an ace as he takes the blinds and antes. Hand #18 - TJ Cloutier raises to 70,000 and flashes AQ to take the blinds and antes. |

Re: 10k Foxwoods
somewhat interesting hand - durr must have put freddy on nothing, and must currently have a non-freewheeling table image
Hand #10 - Tom Dwan raises to 65,000 and Freddy Deeb calls from the button. The flop comes 944, and Dwan checks to Deeb who bets 100,000; Dwan calls. The turn brings the A and both players check around. The river brings the 3 and once again, both players check around. Dwan shows AQ and Deeb mucks his hand. |

awe and respect. where did you get that from?
I think that accusing someone of [censored] their pants over a message board is plain retarded. |
Re: 10k Foxwoods
uhhh, TJ's very good at NL tourneys. obv he'd prob get crushed at 50/100nl but that's beside the point...plus no money left for that game after craps.

TJ often shows his good hands because he likes to give the image that he is always there. His philosophy is: if you never get called, you will end up with all of the chips. -barry g [/ QUOTE ] |

[/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] exactly. and there's a reason you dont hear about the 'real' modern day top players doing this. they arent afraid to play after the flop where more skill is required, whereas TJ clearly is. |
Re: 10k Foxwoods
Yeah he wants to cultivate a tight image late in a tournament because he's afraid. Surely there are no other possible motive / benefits.
