What are the odds?

Does anybody know the odds of Quads over Quads in Hold'em?

We both flop sets, I hit quads on turn, he hits quads on river.

I am hoping to alleviate the pain with an astronomical number I can relay to people....... thank you

It either happens or it doesn't, so 50/50

Re: What are the odds?

its 2.3832995 x 10^-8 EXACTLY!

first u take the probability of both player holding a pair, then u have 5 cards to hit the other 4 cards...
its not that hard, but its way too much to type here...

Re: What are the odds?

i have no clue how to really calculate stuff but ill try

HU to flop i assume

you hit set = (2/48 + 2/47 +2/46)
you hit quads on turn = (2/48 + 2/47 +2/46) * 1/45
he hits quads on turn = (2/48 + 2/47 +2/46) * 1/45

so odds = [(2/48 + 2/47 +2/46) * 1/45]^2

i suck at stat, am terrible at math, and never use it when i play cards so im pretty sure thats completely wrong

ENJOY
