The guy that takes the joke one step too far

Think of this as a cousin to the "jokes that flopped IRL" thread.

Does everyone know that guy who wants to get in on the joke of the room but always takes it a step too far, just going over the line to the point where it simply becomes awkward for everybody? I was reminded of this today when the following scenario came up.

Guy walking into office slips on the door handle and ends up ramming himself right into the door before opening it, so his torso was pressed against the closed door. He walks in and laughs it off, saying "wow sorry I think I just humped that door in front of you guys."

Person A: hey, it turned me on. (Everyone chuckles).
Person B (guy taking it a step too far): Yeah, haha. I think I have a hard-on!

Then everyone just kind of puts their head down hoping the moment goes away.

Share your examples of the guy that took the joke one step too far.

it also reminds me of the time I saw a 60 year old guy slide down one of those things and he was going so fast his bathing suit fell off, and I just stood there at his big beautiful hairy balls flopping around. holy geeze I wanted to lick 'em!

I do this all the time, only I'm sometimes funny with it. Most of the time I regret it though.

We're heckling obv. We also have a prop bet on runs and got has this inning. Kyleb gives up 6 runs and walks off the field.

I yell, "BETTER THAN WE EXPECTED".

People a few rows down turn with a wow expression on their faces, laugh, and say something that i forget. I'm pretty into the heckling now.

One of the three guys using wood bats in the game gets up. Hits some sort of weak ass [censored].

I yell something like, "THAT IS WHY YOU USE A METAL BAT SIR".

If you were there, trust me, it did.

The "BETTER THAN EXPECTED" was money. The "METAL BAT SIR" was umm... not.

The kind I hate are the thunder stealing laugh pirates. Like you have a crowd and you're telling some awesome story and everyone is laughing their asses off and as soon as you finish the thunder stealer says "hey bostaevski did I ever tell you about the time..." and he pirates all of *MY* laughs. People have to stop laughing at my story so they can hear his. Then he tries to one-up me by telling some stupid story that is hilarious to him but not even remotely funny or interesting to anyone else. Meanwhile almost everyone sort of turns around and starts ignoring the laugh pirate while I am stuck listening to this guy's story then have to pretend I found it amusing.

A point.

This was a charity game for Make A Wish, not a real baseball game. The guy with the wood bat was from some weirdass 60 and over league. This may provide more helpful context.

I didn't know that person and this was some kind of mens rec league. The one to kyleb is obviously ok. At the game it was pretty unanimous that the second one went too far and i stopped heckling after that. Dids is lying about the guys age though.

Im this guy, except im actually funny. But I totally love to cross the line and make people feel bad for laughing when they know they shouldn't, that or I just like to make people who have no sense of humor uncomfortable. I'm sure that can be psychoanalyzed into me having some sort of issue, but whatever

just got home from a celts game...excellent example by my friend on the train....

its pretty crowded and there is a couple 18-19 year old girls heading out towards BC dragging along their bags and pillows, etc.

Girl 1: Don't fall over!

Girl 2: It's ok, I got a firm grip on this pole!

Me (Michael Scott voice): That's what she said

Girls: (laughter)

Friend: Yeah I bet she loves stroking that [censored] too, huh?

I work with one of these.
He is a lot like Kenneth from 30 Rock.
Just being around him tires me out physically.

I am sorry I can't even muster a specific story right now. Just the thought of it is painful.
