Lock of the millenium (Dallas -1 @ NYG)

First off, I would like to apoligize. I rarely visit this forum, and contribute even more rarely. However, every once and a great while, I spot a pick whose true line is so far off base I just need to post it, and it deserves its own thread.

Mortgage your house. Mortgage your kids. Take Dallas -1 this week vs. the NYG. It doesn't get any easier than this. I am flying out to vegas this week just so I can bet as much as possible on this game.

EDIT: sorry, i just read the FAQ for this forum, and I was not familar with them. I am re-posting now in the afternoon thread. Please delete/lock this thread if necesary. I also understand most "lock of the millenium" posts are ridiculed amongst the pro betters. If I am wrong I will forever hide my head in shame. This one is too good to pass up. I obviously don't want you to bet more than you can afford to lose on this game. Just bet 1 unit on it. 2 if you are feeling frisky. I'm betting more but that is my own risk I am willing to take (and can afford to lose)

How did I know that the lock of the millenium would be a road favorite? I might have to bet the Giants just on general principle.

This is about as correct as correct lines get IMO.
Flip a coin.

Even if I did like Dallas. 1. We all know there isnt a lock. 2. NFL lines are the hardest to beat, so this makes no sense. 3. Ive seen 5-6 better plays in the last week. Thats if I liked dallas.

This is a pass for me but if I was forced to bet on the game I'd take the Giants.

i'm passing on it as well but if i had to pick id take dallas.

NYG have played some weak teams: jets, bills, miami, atl, SF, philly..
combined 12-37

they lost already against Dallas as well. With the other loss being green bay

Oh also, I think it'd be great if you could mortgage your kids.

Last year I bet my whole sports roll on Indy -1 @ Dallas. Although watching the game, Indy was the better team and had some crucial calls go against them they still lost.

There is never such a thing as a lock, and I would rather bet the Detroit game than this one.

I understand there is no such thing as a lock, and I was using the term "lock" somewhat freely and sarcastically there. But by using the term "lock" I just mean it is about as sure as I can be about something without the game already being played. Dallas wins this game atleast 85% of the time, IMO.

Yeah, but what's their ATS record when their quarterback's last name has double Ns?

I'm curious what evidence you have that makes you say that.

I feel the correct line should be about Dal -3.5/4
